This ring wasn't bad until it started rusting. We only had it for about two months before the black coating started to peel and rust developed quickly after that. For something that is made to be outside in the elements and have fires inside of it, this was VERY disappointing. For that reason, I would not recommend this. ... show more

Overall a good price but, did not quite fit the stones the way I wanted it to. I had to place a layer of flat 1” stones at the bottom of the fire pit to get the 2 layers of stones to be level with the lip of the ring. (See photo). I also noticed a layer of some sort of film burning off the inside of the pit on the first fire we had. (See photo). ... show more

Ordered the 45” OD. Box arrived completely destroyed but product was undamaged. Packed in styrofoam, which of course broke apart and got everywhere— I suggest opening this package outside. There were no instructions, but you should not need them. Included all the necessary hardware and a small metric wrench and small metric allen as well. Once you get it assembled it is very heavy duty. The coating seems to be decent enough to withstand the elements. My only complaint is at the flanges did not line up correctly (see pics), However m, this is easily rectified with a big hammer or by prying up with a channel locks. I am building a smokeless fire pit and will likely be covering the flange with block anyways, so this does not concern me. I will update test review as soon as I get the fire pit built and I’m able to use it. However initial review leaves me wanting to buy another for camping trips. ... show more
