If you’re a hoof trimmer for cows, horses, hogs, etc. this is for you. That annoying horse that won’t stand no more than 2 minutes, with thick, hard as a nail hooves, with the constant pulling against you… then this product is for you. This grinder turns that fast weekly growth to dust in just a few short seconds. If you’re new to it, slow and easy wins the race. It’s not too heavy, and it doesn’t require the muscle it takes to put those clippers through the hard hooves. It does all the work for you. If you’re worried about getting the horse balanced, or need to cut the bars back if they’re very over grown use the nippers and a rasp for finishing touches. Great little grinder! Fairly light weight and plenty of power. Great that they include the extra disc, I didn’t have to go and buy three different types of disc, they were included. I was able to use it right away. Great buy, wish I had bought it sooner.

I do occasional fabrication with metal. I have four and half inch DEWALT, four and half inch PORTER CABLE, four inch MAKITA. This Dong Chong feels as solid as any of my angle grinders. Plug it in and push the paddle switch and it will torque in your hand, meaning it will twist when the push paddle is pushed. Haven’t used it at this point yet. Bought the dong Chong because of price and I got tired of having to stop and change to a different blade, flap, grinding, cutoff blades. Also I got six blades with the dong Chong 2 flaps, 2 grinding, 2 cutoff. I do believe it was a bargain, ten dollars off the price. Longevity? THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN. I like having several angle grinders, fitted with different discs at the ready when I'm working on a project. It makes life a bit easier when you're not constantly swapping them out, etc. I love my Makita and older Milwaukee grinders, but I'm not thrilled how much new ones cost... it's not like they're high precision tools, they just need to be tough because everything you'd use a grinder for is pretty much power tool abuse. Along with expensive grinders - which do last pretty well - I've had a few cheap ones. They're awful, they sound like they were made with loose square bearings, vibrate a lot more, and generally have unsafe side switches. The Dong Cheng has a nice paddle switch, it spins very smoothly, had decent power, and I really like the longer than average cord! The arbor lock works great, the spanner is fine, and the discs are decent too. With the coupon, I think it's a great deal and I can't say it feels "cheap", in fact fit/finish/function it's definitely nicer than the Porter-Cable/Craftsman/Ryobi stuff. Last night I loaded it with a Diablo cutoff wheel and cut about 35" total of 3/16" plate and flush cut some old goobery welds. Then I ground the old welds flush and chamfered the edges of the plate to weld with one of the supplied flap discs. The Dong Cheng got a workout for a first use, and it did great. If I get a couple years of occasional/hobby/farm type use of it, money well spent! ... show more
