I bought this trimmer for my cats, because I have three old ladies who have stopped grooming. One calico with short hair, and two Norwegians with long hair, so I got to try this trimmer out on different kinds of coats. It worked amazingly well on all three! My calico just had some small spots of matted fur, which came off very easily. The trimmer slices through fur like butter. My one Norwegian had some knots in her tail and on her belly, which also came off without a problem. My second Norwegian was a mess, she's a feral stray who we've been caring for for a few years, and she's very skittish. Her whole back had become matted after a rainstorm, and she had a hardened turtle shell of fur. Despite her being so nervous and skittish, she actually let me shave her with this trimmer. It doesn't make too much noise, and it doesn't hurt the cat (even when right on the skin). I shaved off her entire back in two pieces (pic of one of them attached) and she is so happy again! Now I still upkeep her fur with the trimmer, every time I see a small knot. Can't recommend this device enough! Stellar quality for the price. ... show more

I cannot say enough good things about the clippers. The other reviews stating they cut through hair like butter is accurate. I have a doodle I self maintain and after countless pairs of clippers I will never purchase another brand. The kit comes with all the essentials; battery, oil, guards and of course the device. It is quiet, efficient and user friendly. Upon receiving it, i charged it and was ale to groom my full size doodle with one full charge. I went back the next day to clean him up. This is great! I only give my dog at home haircuts and I usually use my cousin‘s clippers for her dog. I decided to buy my own and was so happy I chose these ones! As me and my boyfriend were shaving my dog we were excited to see how sharp and good the actual clippers were! My dog‘s hair literally melted off her body it was like a butter. Charging didn’t take too long it’s made out of gray stuff it’s not cheap or plastic like at all I absolutely love it. And it came with all the stuff for the little brush the oil the charger all the different head pieces for the clippers. And a great pair of super sharp scissors! Or shears. Whatever. I purchased this dog grooming set on here at Amazon and they came in a well constructed white box and the only reason I gave them four stars is because it did not include a pouch to carry your clippers in and the box just makes it a little annoying getting them in and out. The clippers themselves are of great quality, low noise and vibration, the blades are sharp and the cut your pooches hair well. I would recommend these to anyone but I would hope in the future they include a little draw string carrying pouch of some sort. Do not let this sway you away from buying them because they are affordable and they come in working n fully charged condition. ... show more

Just received the clippers today and wow!!!! Didn’t take long or much to groom my furbabies! Super affordable! I’m blown away! I have two dogs.. a maltipoo (which I take grooming and spend $50)! And the other is a yorkie/chihuahua mix and I normally groom her myself. I had gotten some regular clippers but they wouldn’t cut that well. So I got on Amazon and looked up pet clippers and boy aren’t I happy I found these bad boys!! I spent $4 lol cause I used a gift card but still was on sale for $15-$20! Buy it now!! If you wanna save your coins!! Highly recommend! I love that it’s cordless and not so loud. My dog let me cut her hair when no issues. Probably took me 20-30 mins! Glad I bought these so I don’t have to spend so much grooming money. 😊✂️ Update: doesn’t hold a charge and takes FOREVER to charge! More the. “4-6 hrs” like the manual says. Like this complete set a lot. Clipper motor is very quite. I am a novice at clipping my dog so my first attempt was trial & error learning the different blade attachments. My dog is groomed by a professional but I want to be able to do touch ups between visits. Found out my dog doesnt like her legs clipped and thats what I wanted most to trim up. I had a clipper from amazon that worked amazing and was super lightweight. This one looks exactly the same but is at least double the weight and heavy for the hand, esp if grooming for long periods of time. I would recommend finding a lighter one.
