My Chihuahua did not like this at first but now he goes in it without me having to catch him. My neighbor hasn’t complained yet, so he must not be too bad. Everybody needs to have a kennel to make sure their animals safe when they’re gone. I don’t know if you can tell people that enough because you never know what a dog can get into especially a puppy. Value for the dollar. Very easy to set up and not heavy at all and it comes with a very nice bottom pan. It has double doors and a divider, so if you have 2 smaller dogs it will work really good. We have a 50lb dog and she fits in there with plenty of room to move around and sit. The only draw back is that the latches take a moment to get use too and if you do leave one of the latches not latched on it makes it pretty easy for them to push the door and shimmy out if they are smaller. ... show more

I'm not unhappy with this kennel, but it is more flimsy and light weight than I was anticipating. The wires are smaller in diameter than expected. I am using it for a non-aggressive dog that has no interest in breaking out of the kennel. However, if you needed this for a dog that was insisting on escape, it would possibly be prautomatic. The latches are flimsy and the entire kennel is just not particularly sturdy. Again, it suits my needs, but is definitely not as sturdy as my other kennels. ... show more

This is a convenient cage since it has doors on both length and width sides however it is not as sturdy as I'd like it to be. My 7 month old weenie dog has already bent it and we've had it for about 2 months. The locks are difficult to open and close. The tray is flimsy and so loud when the dog steps on it; I glued an old bathroom mat to the bottom of it to stifle some sound. It works but I’ve had much better.

My 6 month old lab mix puppy bent the wire under door frame the first time she was kenneled. She did not get out but tried very hard to do so. Not returning and still using after repairing the bent wires.
