The collar is very cute, and the color and pattern look great. My dog is a puller though, and it does loosen up pretty easily. It doesn’t take long for it to loosen large enough that she can pull right out of it.

The colors are very vibrant so they pop on my pups fur. This is the size large, if your dog is fluffy then the collar may disappear into their fur, but that is to be expected as it is only 1 inch wide. The collar is thin so it will be breathable, we will see how long it lasts.

It took some searching to find an actual embroidered/woven collar instead of just the plastic-y ones with the patterns printed on the top. Her old Boots & Barley collar finally started to wear out after 3 years and this is the perfect replacement! Beautiful pattern and great quality. It feels exactly like her old collar. The colors are vibrant, it looks great, and it feels very secure with solid stitching. I feel like this one will last just as long as her first collar. The only negative - the buckle is SO STIFF. It was so hard to open and once it finally released, I felt like I had just about ripped my nail off. I’m hoping that it’ll loosen up after some use, because I don’t want to struggle like that every time I take her collar off. If there are any issues with the collar as it’s worn, I’ll update this review. But so far so good! (also, check out collartags.com for awesome pet-proof ID tags!) 2 month update: good news, the clasp has gotten a lot easier to release after taking it off a few times for baths.
