  • Another banger from Savior.
Just another great case from Savior. I have the pistol range bag as well, and have zero complaints. The zippers and buckles aren't YKK, but they are well constructed and aren't a weak spot. If I were pressed to find any cons, it would be the should straps are a bit bulky when stowed, and I'd like to see some pouches for mag storage. However, the incorporation of multiple MOLLE areas as well as hook and look panels do give you the option to add mag pouches or misc storage quite easily. ... show more

  • A real soft case. Definitely worth the price I paid.
Color: SW Gray Size: 30"
After purchasing a few other bags around the 65$ range, this is the one to get. The others are made from cheap materials. If you actually transport your long gun often this is the best cost/function bag to buy.

  • Great case!
Color: Flat Dark Earth Tan Size: 34"
Bought this case for a range bag and it hasn’t failed yet! I can fit my rifle, 6 30 rd mags in molle pouches, 3 Glock magazines in a mole pouch all in the main zipper compartment with plenty of room to other things. The front pocket I can fit ear and eye pro plus a cleaning kit with room to spare, the conceal pocket is too deep imo to carry a weapon and retrieve it effectively but it makes great room for a couple extra mags or spare 20 rd boxes of ammo. The top pouch I can store my speedloader, ear plugs for guests, sunglasses, 2 pairs of mechanix gloves and a can of zyn. ... show more

  • Serious quality at an affordable price.
The Savior bag without a doubt is of quality construction, has lots of options for load out and fits my Hellion perfectly. I bought the 34-inch version. I'm sure the bag will last years and years. As a backpack, it's fairly comfortable and should protect the contents very well. The only issue I have is the weight, it's over 8lbs empty and literally weighs more than the gun. To be honest, I did not even think of the weight before the purchase. Gun bags are heavier than a general bag for obvious reasons, I just did not think it would be as heavy as it is. That's on me, I know better. That being said, I totally understand it's a compromise between affordability, profit and quality. Savior, has pretty much nailed the quality but I knocked off one star just because of the weight. I fully expect the loaded weight once I get all my gear in there to be around 25lbs or more. While 25lbs does not sound like a lot, backpacking or hiking in the mountains for hours/days takes its toll. I've hiked 100's of miles over the years with a pack weight of 42-45lbs and hiked the Grand Canyon three times. All my hikes have been with backpacks designed for weight and long distance and my current pack (Kelty Red Cloud 90) weighs 6lbs empty. At around 25lbs and long days on the trail, a backpack is beginning to need hip-belt supports to save the shoulders. I understand it's not a "hiking" backpack and is not intended to be one. I'm going to load it up and give it a run to see how it does. I'm not sending it back, it's a great pack for the money and the gun fits beautifully. I just might be looking for something else to hit the trails with. I have the gun no clip with Magpul 2 point sling, small binoculars, small knife, small flashlight, two 3 mag pouches the six mags and a few small items, alcohol wipes and matches. The total weight is currently 25lbs. I'll likely be pushing 30lbs. ... show more

  • Worth the money
I've been around range environments for many years and have seen a lot of bags. Some have held up pretty well and others not so much. The one bag that I have seen work well time and time again are the savior equipment bags. This one is no exception. It has more than enough space for my 16" Aero, plenty of mags, and my med pouch. This bag is durable and has even resisted liquid spills. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Perfect
Absolutely perfect bag for my AR. Quality is exceptional for the price. Customizable. Storage options galore. Hard plastic cup inside for muzzle. You do have to collapse the stock if you run a 16” barrel and it just fits, but I prefer that to get the smaller size. Can’t go wrong with this.

  • Exactly what I needed, but could be improved just a bit.
This bag is exactly what we needed. Fit's a 16" rifle with the stock collapsed, but there are some small things I think should be addressed. 1. The 34" bag is JUST big enough to fit a 16", with a light attached, the stock holder is unusable, and because the next size up is a 38", you either are left with too much room or just enough. If there was a 36" offering, it would be perfect in this department. 2. Storage is a huge win in this bag, kind of. There is a lot of molly straps if you don't use the second rifle slot for additional storage, as well as two pockets in the front, with a hidden velcro pocket. The lower pocket is nice, and has a lot of storage, but the top one is so thin and hard to open, I can barely fit anything in there. 3. Carry options. This thing is meant to be used as a backpack, and only that. Yes you "could" carry it by hand, but it's a bit cumbersome, and the term "discreet" I'd use loosely, as I've never seen any other backpack that is this length not used for this purpose, but it is comfortable as a backpack (why we purchased it) and will stand the test of time. I would say this bag is an 8 out of 10. Would recommend it with the stipulation that it's intended to be a backpack and isn't meant to be loaded up with EVERYTHING you own. ... show more
