  • Easily worth the price
Style: Panda Revo-X1C Hotend
Complete game changer. Noticeable improvement in print quality, and speed. Aside from that, having the ability to change a clogged nozzle without tools in less than 5 seconds is enough to justify the purchase alone. This is going in all of my units

  • Best upgrade I have ever made.
Style: Panda Revo-X1C Hotend
When it comes to 3D printing, a successful upgrade for me often means it just didn’t make things worse. Very rarely does an upgrade actually make things better. However, this print head has set a new standard in successful upgrades for me. It’s just amazing to be able to unscrew the nozzle with my bare hands and swap it out with another of a different size in a matter of seconds. Not to mention the nozzles work extremely well just as good if not better than OEM nozzles. So very happy with this purchase. I do understand it is a little frustrating that the photos for other nozzles look like they come in a pack. I wish they would fix that, it is misleading. But even at $20-$30 per nozzle, it’s worth it to me for the simplicity and functionality. Thank you for making an amazing product! ... show more

  • First Impression, Disappointed, *Update1*, *Update2*
Style: BMS Hotend
I've been waiting for the past week for my package to arrive because my printer is in need of a new hotend due to a recent mishap and what do I open up. A used, dirty product. I was even thinking about maybe trying it out even with the product showing up used but I can't because it's also incomplete, there isn't any heat sleeve. I don't know if this was a accident or what but this is ridiculous. *Update1* I returned the package that I had received and had another one sent to me. This time it arrived brand new and it is looking good. I haven't installed or used it just yet which is why I bumped the 1 star review to a 3 star review. One I get this installed and get I few uses out of this ill edit in another update. *Update2* I finally got it installed and my printer working. It will fit in place of where the stock hot end assembly previously sat, however, I did run into a issue with the new hot end. The temp kept over shooting and undershooting when trying to print and since it couldn't settle the print would never start. I learned how to calibrate pid on the printer and then it was fine. I've only done 2 prints, the calibration cubes, with a 3rd print going rn and I will say this assembly seems great starting off. The picture of the 3rd print is the prints first layer and it looks amazing besides very minimal defects here and there, which is probably due to bed leveling. I have high hopes that this assembly will continue to operate as well as it is right now ... show more

  • It was good while it lasted
Style: BMS Hotend
The hot end was performing well till it started to fail by leaking plastic from the heatbreak. So disappointing and frustrating. I had everything dialed and the printer performing well with Klipper and 0.6mm nozzle. during the first print, it started spewing plastic out from the heatbreak. it almost destroyed the long print. I checked if everything looked tight and checked nozzle too, started another print and this time halfway through it started dropping blobs of plastic all over the print and it failed massively. Upon inspection, I can see plastic leaking out from the heatbreak area and it builds up slowly and then started to droop down the sides. Eventually making its way on to the print. I hope Phaetus will send me a replacement. ... show more

  • Failed and clogged after 5 prints.
Style: Panda Revo-X1C Hotend
Failed after 5 prints in. The install was straight forward and simple. I started prints and it was going great then midway into my 5th print, clogged right up. Heat creep was the culprit. I took the revo nozzle off and saw that hat way up there was filament build up on the walls. Melted filament should not have been that far up in the nozzle. ABS printed fine and the PLA was where the issue arose from. I tried to unclog it and thought it was successful, but I was wrong. I used a torch to melt out the clog and used a nozzle pusher to push through the clog but it would not allow the filament to feed through on my Bambu X1C. I thought this was going to be the “ONE” upgrade that would make nozzle changes a breeze. But then again I had this issue with the stock .4 nozzle from Bambu. I think it might be this cheap filament I bought in bulk. But the filament (pla) prints just fine in my stock .6 Bambu hotend. But I did return this Panda Revo hotend. I did get an email from Micro-Swiss on their new Bambu hotend type revo quick change nozzle. And it’s way cheaper in cost. Might give that a try next. Wish me luck. ... show more

  • Worth the hype
Style: Panda Revo-X1C Hotend
This thing definitely works. Let's start with the packaging: look at the picture, it's nice haha. Ease of installation: this was as simple as swapping out the nozzle on the X1C, disconnected the old one and used the same fan, then installed the revo. Easy peasy took less than 5min Performance: I'll say that it definitely outperforms stock nozzles. From the picture Included you can see that on the right is stock flow test and the left is revo. Revo actually finished the test while I had to actually cancel stock due to failure. In terms of quality printing from looks I would say the quality on the revo print started to fail about double past the stock. I'm excited to be able to try this with different nozzles and the quick swap as the biggest reason I got was that I could tell that the clips on the head board were starting to get loose so this will make it so I don't have to disconnect anything again. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. ... show more

  • Seemed convenient... but in reality it's not...
Style: Panda Revo-P1 Hotend
Ordered 4 total, 2 for X1C and 2 for P1S. It ran fine for maybe 200 hours on each before i started encountering clogging issues. I've spent around 10 hours or so unclogging nozzles. I run Revos on my vorons and encounter no issues. Profiles are fine tuned but if you swap from any different type of material after prints prepare to do cold pulls. I waited 3 months to write this review... And i can honestly say of all the countless upgrades i've ever done on my print farm ordering these 4 hotends was the worst decision i've made. High priced and probably wasted just as much filament and time in projects. Just don't do it. ... show more
