I got this for husband & he says it's not as helpful as he thought it would be. He tried several different ways to use it & ended up returning it. Seems it just wasn't the fit for him after all. He said that even tho it didn't work out for him, he'd still recommend it.

I am always on the lookout for a better truss. When I got this, I was impressed with the way it was made. It fit well and was easy to put on and take off. I like the different size pads but as with most the pads are too hard. The straps fit well and don't dig into places they shouldn't. The Velcro holds well and seems like it will hold up. The sizing on these is accurate and the belt and straps offer quite a good range of adjustment. You can trim the excess off the waist belt and the under straps come off completely, so they're also very adjustable. This belt comes with two pads for each side. One type is made of a rather firm material and the pads themselves are flat. The other is a soft, memory foam type material that imprints more through the front, but offers really good support for situations where you need to be flexible, such as workouts or long walks. The pads feel good all around. These attach to the belt via pouches; there aren't Velcro attachment points for the pads. Overall this is really good. The large size is, indeed, quite large, so if you're narrow across your hips you might want to size down a little. The Velcro closures feel good, too, they're not made of cheap Velcro that's likely to give out fast. I'd buy from this company again. ... show more
