This product didn't really do anything positive for me. Compared to other serums I have, I found my face to be drier and more wrinkled looking after using this. I was pretty disappointed in that observation. I kept using it for a few weeks just to make sure there wasn't a gradual break-in period, but ultimately concluded it wasn't working for me. I think this must be specifically designed for use post-peel or post-needling, and not for use as a general age preventative.     • Wanted to like it but a few considerations
Doctor Babor is one of those brands I really truly love, have bought as well as sampled quite a few products from them over the years, and some of their products I have bought multiple times. This one was a bit curious to me though. It has some fantastic ingredients that all seem to be canceled out by the heavy use of alcohol higher up on the ingredient list. As a standalone product, it's not getting a lot of love from me. I tried it anyway and just found that it wasn't as moisturizing as I would like on its own. However, when used with other products from the same line-up it's not bad. Contains some fantastic extracts and good ingredients. A little bit up in the air on this one works really well after microdermabrasion, i’ve seen some complaints that it had alcohol content but maybe that’s because of what it’s used for. It does leave my skin feeling sticky rather than smooth by itself but with a moisturizing cream it works great. Says it’s fragrance free but you can definitely smell the alcohol. ... show more

The bottle is very large so this will last a really long time. Also found this serum to be a bit more watery than others I have used. So it only took a tiny bit to cover my face. Soaked right in and didn't leave any tacky residue. One of the main ingredients is alcohol and to me the scent leans that way quite a bit. I really don't mind a face product that contains alcohol as it's helped quite a bit to combat my acne. To reduce the chance of it drying out your skin just follow with a good moisturizer. ... show more

I've been using this every other day in the AM for a month and my skin is clean, clear and smooth. I use another Doctor Babor in the evenings, and a different Doctor Babor on my off days in the AM. I'm super happy with this and Doctor Babor in general.

    • Absorbs well into skin - non irritating
This serum is a lightweight serum that is well absorbed into the skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin which is amazing because these types of serums can have that affect on me sometimes.

Alcohol, which has a drying effect on the skin are the 3rd AND 4th ingredients. You can actually smell it in the product itself. My skin is combo so it didn't have a huge impact on my skin but I definitely felt drier and think that if you had dry skin, this would be a bad 'moisturizer.' It is a large bottle and the dropper is easy to use but for the price point there are far better serums out there.     • Not great for my dry skin
I am pretty hit and miss with Dr. Babor products...I really wish they wouldn't add drying ingredients like Alcohol. I also don't prefer added fragrance, but that I can deal with ok, just not the alcohol. Because of the Hyaluronic acid in this, my skin can initially feel the plumpness that that gives, but I felt this was just irritating to my skin in general. ... show more
