Size: Duster Kit Attachments
I just bought the 30 ft telescoping docapole for my Floating dock (I live on the Delaware canal and river and use a floating dock to cross to the towpath side for biking and exercise and also to maintain river side). The telescoping pole is VERY strong! I have a 16 footer from Lowe’s or Home Depot and it seems flimsy in comparison (it worked great, but this just is more solid). Yet, the weight is not double for the 30 footer! So, I think it’s an overall nice pole. The attachments are extras I got for my house. We have 3 stories of windows (a lot of them), including attic dormers. With the 30’ pole, I’m hoping to reach them all to clean the exterior glass and also debris. The house is painted cedar siding and a cedar roof, so ladders and an inexperienced guy like me doing this stuff.... it is dangerous (for me) and I could make costly damage to old, large exposure beaded siding that is not only expensive, but tough to replace. The docapole should make cleaning much easier and safer. I’m hoping to get a lot of use out of the docapole and attachments. All is of high quality and came quickly. ... show more

    • WHY did I wait?

For years, I bugged my poor hubby to climb to a very tall ladder and wipe down the dust and cobwebs from the window area of our foyer. I myself topped rickety ladders outdoors to reach with a broom onto siding areas and porch overhangs, etc. When I saw this, I knew I had to try it. I am glad I did. This thing is awesome. I can easily reach wherever I need to to clean and wipe things down. I haven't used the looped mop attachment really wet yet, but I have used it damp with window cleaner on glass and it works great. The longer fuzzy brush attachment works great for getting cobwebs, I just vacuum it off when I bring it down. It traps most of it, which is a real plus. Each of the sections extend independently, which is a very handy feature. I would advise to be sure the farthest end gets extended first, that way, there is less weight on the end you are trying to control. If you keep more of the weight towards you, things are much easier and there's far less risk of breaking a section of pole or bending it. The only downsides I really see are that the locking mechanisms on the sections are a bit difficult to work at first, and the connectors for the attachments are plastic. I wish those were metal, but oh well. Also, make SURE you have room to store this thing, it is huge-- even when all of the sections are collapsed. Otherwise FABULOUS product worth the money just to be able to get at something without hauling out a ladder and risking life and limb. ... show more

    • Good for hard to reach places

I got this to clean the top part of my foyer, which is about 20ft, plus the plant shelf above the front door. I could not reach these areas with a standard duster and it’s so hard to get a ladder out to do it. This one reached with no problem and the attachments are very helpful to reach corners and around the window above the front door. To do the plant shelf, I have to stand at the railing in my upstairs hallway and extend it to reach, but I have to use the railing as a pivot point. Its very sturdy, but with that comes weight. It is pretty heavy to hold and clean when fully extended like that. I will need to cover my railing next time because I put some small scratches on the wood using it to help hold the pole. Ordered this product to dust a variety of decorative, very high ceilings, and a ceiling fan 30 feet up. Pole is very sturdy, but is a bit heavy. The flexible microfiber attachment works well on walls and corners as well as fan blades. The round dusting brush is more coarse and great for the thick, dirty type cob webs on drywall (think garage, basement rafters, etc.). The microfiber duster has a plastic handle that screws onto the pole. This plastic handle has been easily falling off the duster making the duster impractical to use on the pole. BUT the company VERY quickly and VERY easily agreed to send me a replacement. The pole has an adjustable angle on the piece that holds the attachments. It tightens into position by turning a knob. I find this knob easily loosens and needs to be re-tightened during cleaning sessions. Overall, works well and company stands by their product. ... show more

I like the sturdiness of the Docapole along with the various attachments you can order. It makes doing task around the home easier and safer verses setting up a ladder to reach high places. Makes easy work to remove cobwebs, wasp nest and wash windows on the the exterior of your home. We have 12' to 28' ceilings and the Docapole makes cleaning fans and changing light bulbs in the interior of the home simple. I was looking for a pole with a metal top to attach things to, but I wanted one that bent as well. I did not realize that the part that bends was removable and under it was a metal connector. That means if the part that bends ever breaks it is easy to replace. I have had to throw away other poles when the tips broke. The connectors are solid lever type and at first they did not grip tight enough to prevent the pole from twisting when locked. The design is adjustable though and the problem was fixed with a simple twist of a screwdriver. Very good design, strong but lightweight (for such a long pole). I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this product. We have a 28 ft ceiling height in our facility and needed a quicker way to dust and clean upper areas. We previously used ladders and lifts to get to the upper reaches. I decided we needed to try something less involved, so we ordered this cleaning kit, not expecting it to be as good as it is. It is very well made, sturdy and easy to use. We were able to reach all areas needed cleaning and dusting in a small fraction of the time it took previously. Thanks Doca Team for this great product.
