  • Awesome easy addition!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
The media could not be loaded. I have a disabled daughter in middle school. She uses foldable wheelchairs for daily mobility. The chairs that we have purchased do not typically come with seat belts, however they are needed for her to ride the bus. This product was SO easy to install. Was on in less than 10 minutes from opening up my delivered package. Has a very straightforward little installation guide. This will work perfect for our needs, and cost was great. Adjustable strap for different sized persons. Regular seatbelt type release which is nice as most are the plastic backpack type buckles. Would definitely recommend to anyone in an even remotely similar situation! ... show more

  • A tad short, so pull out the tape measure to make sure it will fit.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Be sure to measure before making this purchase. It was not flimsy or anything, but it is just not long enough. I made this purchase to replace the belt that broke on my mobility chair. I didn't measure and assumed this new one would be long enough. Big Mistake! It would be okay for a pediatric mobility chair or someone small. Even if you have a teenie waist (adult), I think that you would have a problem when you wear a jacket or a coat. Luckily, I was able to just swap the buckle and the hardware from this new one. The plastic casing around the old buckle is what broke. For 10 bucks, I didn't sweat it, I was glad that my brother observed that they could be swapped and I'm happy to be secured in my mobility chair again. ... show more

  • Easy to install
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I'm new to wheelchair world, so was flummoxed at the instructions to remove/replace a screw that was in a tight and awkward place under the wheelchair armrest. Then a kind soul showed me that the armrest itself was easily removable, which made changing the screw a snap. Maybe I'm the only idiot who didn't know that, but am sharing in case I have kindred spirits out there new to the wheelchair world, as well! Note: I do wish the seatbelt were a few inches longer. My husband is of "normal" size and fishing the seatbelt out of the side rails is just slightly annoying. Another couple of inches would have allowed it to drape over the side while transferring him to and from the chair. ... show more

  • Good safety belt
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is a good seat belt for our wheelchair. It's easy to install. These usually don't come with instructions, so I was surprised this one did. There are screws on the back of the wheelchair, which can be loosened. The screw then is inserted into the hold on the end of the belt and then the screw is tightened back onto the wheelchair. Caution still needs to be used when someone is in a wheelchair and we still need to be aware of their position, but this belt does help to keep them more secure. This belt opens and closes like the seat belts in our car. A simple push of the red button releases the belt. The belt is easily adjusted (one side adjusts, the other does not). I'm posting a few photos to show the installation of the belt. In one of the photos, you might notice a cushion on the side of the chair. I know it might look strange... we are using the cushion, which we had originally purchase for her to sit on, to help support my mom on that side. No matter how well she is positioned in the chair, she tends to lean to that side. If the cushion is not there, she leans WAY over the side. It's not a perfect solution, but seems to be working ok for us. ... show more

  • Broke on first use
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
It fit well and looks nice, but then it broke the first time I used it. The push button side completely collapsed inward and now won't work. Unfortunately, I also accidentally stripped the bolt on my wheelchair so now I have a disfunctioning seatbelt that I'll probably have to cut off if I don't want it to stay there forever. Don't buy, y'all. Not worth it. ... show more

  • Not the belt I purchased
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
It does work. It holds well, easy to install and adjust. It's the same ISBN number but it appears to be a cheaper model than what I was led to purchase. I would prefer to have received the exact model that was pictured in the listing.
