Working with my 51/2 yr grandson, I noticed that the screws were to difficult for him to completely install. Also some of the stickers were hard to remove without tearing, and the stickiness could be a little more to stick to raw wood. I almost never write a negative review but this upset me so much. My 4-year-old loves cars and has been wanting to use tools lately. I thought this would be a neat little kit for him to work on. It started fine but then the wheels would not stay on. The screws are too short. You could just barely wiggle them & they would fall off. I eventually found 4 of my own screws that were a bit longer & replaced them. My son was happy with that but not even 2 minutes later the piece on the front fell off. & there’s no way to get the back piece to tighten either. None of the screws are long enough! If the kit worked right, I don’t think it was worth more than 3 or 4 dollars. I paid about $13! I’m so disappointed that this took away from what I hoped would be a special moment for my son. He was so excited to build something in his own. & had it not been so flawed, he could have. Instead he watched disappointed that even mom & dad couldn’t get the screws to tighten. ☹️ ... show more

Fairly easy to assemble with tiny screw driver supplied but easier with regular size screwdriver. Racecar screws are too short and don't attach completely, fall out and had to use wood glue to end of screw to hold the wheels on.
