Assembly wasn't difficult. Some of the stickers are trying to come off. It's short and low to the ground, perfect for a first time bed. I don't see it lasting very long, I expect my son to grown out of it in a a couple of years. He loves it though and that's what really matters. My 15 month old loves his new Mickey bed! It was easy to assemble & he's had no problems in it at all since we got it last month. The stickers can be a pain to put on but I already expected that based on other reviews.
