The sparkles stayed on during delivery (I read some people complaining about the sparkles coming off during delivery -- that wasn't our case. The sparkles stay on pretty well), and the ornaments are made fairly well. I wouldn't let any animal play with them -- they aren't that durable. They have a nice pearl shade to them which makes them more attractive, according to my wife. These were perfect for my icy woodland themed tree. I ordered one set of the large ones to see how they looked and liked them so much I ordered another set and also got the smaller ones too. Gave it 4 stars because they were pretty pricey. You can similar ones to the small ones for cheaper at other stores but I could not find the large ones anywhere. I love how they look, they have a little sheen/sparkle to them and so far none of the kids have been able to break any of them. (Yes, my 2 year old has already dropped and played with a few on the bottom and no breakage) so looks like they are pretty durable too. ... show more

They look a lot prettier than the pictures. They’re a little translucent with an iridescent shimmer. Very happy with the purchase, I was worried they would look cheap, but definitely pleasantly surprised. They came with extra tops with pretty satin ribbons too.

These are really quite nice. I bought one set and then when I put them up I bought another. Unfortunately the second set was mostly crushed (at least not shattered). The packing box was fine, but the inner box holding the ornaments was bent and crushed. Return process is too much of a hassle to deal with and I won’t likely get a new set before Christmas.
