As parents of a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old we've used a few different of playards over the years, whether in our tiny little apartment or at day cares or church functions. We've always loved the portability and convenience of playards, but NONE have ever given us the variety of use that this one from Beka has given us. —As a playard it is durable, safe, well-padded, and features a convenient zipper in one of the side walls that makes it easy for baby to crawl in and out of, or to better clean-out the playard. —It's super easy to convert into the bassinet, making this ideal for small living spaces or for people like us who just don't want to have to buy a ton of different baby things that take up space around the house. This unit has saved us SO MUCH SPACE!! —We love the way one of the side rails descends to better accommodate co-sleeping. It's a unique feature we've never seen on any other units. —The changing table is very convenient and easy to attach and detach as needed, and the accompanying side pockets for diapers, wipes, cream, etc., is handy. For all that this unit offers, it is incredibly well-priced. We've seen other playards that offer far less and cost twice as much with no noticeable difference in quality. This 4-in-1 unit by Beka is head and shoulders above the competition for being such a versatile product that's also durable and safe. The one disclaimer we would offer is for people to be aware that this unit has a lot of pieces that can make transporting it cumbersome—the changing table, the bassinet bed, the side pockets, the mattress pad. Getting everything packed into the carrying bag took some practice. So long as you're careful with it, you can take it anywhere and it will last you a long time :-) ... show more

This bedside sleeper is a really nice quality. The materials are strong and it is sturdy. I am using it as a pack and play/baby changing station in my living room and I really like the convenience of it. I like that I can use it as a playpen or attach an extra piece to raise it up into a bassinet style bed. It's nice to have in a smaller living space so baby has somewhere to rest when I am doing chores or anywhere in the house that isn't the bedroom. I like the handy changing table and it's super convenient to have the attachment where you can keep diapers/wipes/etc. Overall, I'd say this item is versatile and handy to have around. I normally don’t take the time to write a review I just don’t have the time but man when it’s a good product like this you have to, this is my 3rd baby I’ve bought and been gifted a few types of playpins this is hands down the most secure, comfortable, convenient, and easy to put together and for the price I got it for you can’t beat it, I haven’t had to clean it but you can tell it won’t be difficult, very sturdy I don’t worry about my baby being in there and he hated regular bassinets because it was too small so this right here is the perfect size. ... show more

My daughter is 8 months and is still able to sleep in this bassinet as she hasn't exceeded nor met the weight limit yet. (Blue is my favorite color, thats why it's draped with it. Lol) I've already gotten my money's worth, if you ask me! It's very versatile and we plan on definitely converting it to the pack and play, so she can safely play. I love how it's a bed side co-sleeper, so you can pull it right up to your bed and baby is in arm's reach and that's best for me since I exclusively breastfeed. I actually didn't see this specific bassinet when we were initially searching for one, but glad my partner did and chose it for our growing family. I use the compartments on the back of it for storage and it's extremely convenient. We thought we would have to get a mattress for it, but the topper does just fine and safe for infants since it's flat and firm. If and when we have another baby we will definitely be passing this bassinet down. It's safe, durable, reliable and ergonomic! This product is a great value with all the options for use with a baby. It is a bit on the heavy side but overall not bad for all the stuff it comes with. Easy to put together with the directions conveniently on the product itself. The carrier bag is good, I just wish it had a strap to carry it around easier.
