I needed a sturdy hook to mount out bikes on the wall. These hooks were the answer. (Just be sure to mount them in studs!) I did buy better wood screws from the local hardware store to insure a safe and sturdy installation of the hooks. I have two e-bikes (@ 40ibs each) and two mountain bikes (@ 31 lbs each) hung from the hooks. No problems, just lift and lay the bike slightly toward the right to remove them from the wall. I also really really like the plastic pads for the rear wheels. They keep the tire prints off the wall. And the price point is specially appreciated! ... show more

Extremely easy to install with the correct tools. It does work as promised. The only downside for me is the hook that holds the tire, I think is kind of small making hard to get the tire out and if you are nit careful you can mark the wall as I did. Also, the tip screw is in a awkward position, been blocked by the hook that holds the tire. I end using only the 3 bottom screws, since I am anchoring directly to the stud behind the wall. If you have a different condition I will suggest to used all the screws provided in the package. Besides that no problem. 4 stars product in my opinion. I will recommend this to anyone. ... show more

I was able to install these & hang my 2 bikes by myself (I'm a 65 year old woman) in my garage, and I love them. Maybe someday I'll take a photo. Highly recommended! I have a Trek hybrid and a light roadbike and the hangers hold them both easily and well.

    • Simple, Sturdy, Works As Advertised
We have way too many bikes. Needed to hang two to make space in the garage. These wall racks worked perfectly for this purpose and are versatile and easy to use. I love them, and will probably purchase another set at some point in the near future. A note on installation: We used our own wood screws to attach the racks to studs. Ideally, the company would have provide wood screws for this purpose in addition to the molly bolts that are included with the racks. People may not realize that the molly screws are not meant to be screwed into wood as they are not designed to handle the level of torque that occurs with this type of installation. Use the molly bolts for attaching to drywall, not for direct installation into studs as they may shear. ... show more

Easy to install, mount according to bike heights. I would highly recommend mounting them into studs and not using the anchors. I don’t think those would hold the weight. I would recommend this product.

Definitly worth the price but you need to use a better anchor than the provided scews/plastic anchors. My friend insalled This with the provided screws and the bike fell off the wall in a few weeks. I tried to put it up with the scews and realized they are too weak. I replaced the screw/plastic anchors with a butter-fly anchor (see pics). You need to drill a 3/8 inch hole in your sheetrock wall, attach the bolt and butter-fly anchor to the rack by taking the butter-fly off the bolt, push the blot through the hole in the rack, screw-on the butter-fly back to the bolt. Do this for both holes in the rack. Then push the butter-fly through the hole in the wall. Tighten the bolts with a screw driver or drill driver. It holds my moutain bike with no problem. Note: when drilling through walls becareful of electrical wires, plubming pipes and other buried obsticles. Storp the drill once it goes through the wall (1/2-3/4 inch through), plaster is thicker approx 1 inch). ... show more

    • There are a few reasons these hangers might not work for you. Plan ahead carefully.
For the price, these are pretty good. They are holding our bikes while keeping my wall clean. However, there is a bit of work involved in using these. First, you will probably need some other drywall anchors because the ones that came with this set did not work. I don't know if they just aren't the right size, or if the screws are too short to split the anchor so it will grab, but the top two pulled right out of the wall as soon as I tried to put any weight on it. I ended up just screwing straight into studs. Second, if these are going into a somewhat tight area, I wouldn't recommend these hangers. The bike comes off to the right, but you have to push the bike so far sideways to get the wheel off the hook, that you are going to need a couple of feet to the left as well. I have mine screwed into studs so my bikes hang 16" apart, and I still have to move the bike on the left to be able to get the bike on the right off the hook. So that is a bit annoying. And we had to move them from the spot that we originally wanted to put them so that we'd have more room to maneuver the bikes around. Third, my mountain bike didn't fit. It wasn't that the tire was too wide, which is mentioned in the description; it's that tire and rim were too thick (depth-wise). I had to bend the hook out to be able to get the wheel hooked and over the lip of the tray. Which would be fine except now there's a bit of play so that bike doesn't rest as straight or snuggly as the other bike. All in all, these are decent hangers. And the price is great but whether these are worth it really depends on what kind of tires/wheels you have, how many bikes you have, and where you are wanting to store your bikes. ... show more
