If you are on the fence, buy this in this size, especially if you are a classroom teacher! My students love this, and it is HIGHLY visible in my classroom. The color of the clockface is soothing and easily seen throughout my classroom. It seems to maintain time accurately, but I don’t love having to set the time regularly. I will confess I sometimes have students frustrated with me because it is not “exact” with our bell schedule, but I would claim that is operator error. There are many features which make this clock perfect for my classroom. It has the capability of adding timers and can be adjusted using a remote. Originally, we got the first one for our den so that we can easily see the time while gaming. As mentioned in other reviews, it only comes with a USB cord, but using a phone brick for a plugin works just fine. I bought the 2nd one for my bedroom because without my glasses, I have a hard time seeing things at range, but this is large and clear and I can easily read it from across the room. You can also adjust the brightness. I bought the 3rd and 4th for our upstairs rooms to keep an eye on how warm it is up there. One of my photos is taken from the first floor looking up into our 2nd floor guest room. I can see how warm it is without even climbing the stairs! Yes, the colon does blink, but it doesn't bother any of us. I see many reviews mentioning that it doesn't run on battery. The battery appears to be solely for the function of holding the time in case you lose power, so you don't have to reset your clock once you get power back. There is some question as to the accuracy of the temperature. All of ours are mounted in elevated positions, and heat rises, so we take that into consideration. While it may not be 100% accurate on the temperature, it's still close enough that it helps us to know whether to let our kid sleep out in the living room during the summer because her room is too warm. ... show more

I bought this to hang up in my classroom since there was no wall clock. I originally wanted a round, analog clock but kids can't even tell time on them anymore ha ha Pros: It's large and bright, easy for everyone in the room to see. The orange digits really pop against the black background. It also has a stopwatch and timer with a beeping alarm. You can turn it off with the remote and can also dim the lights down pretty low for bedroom usage (I have the brightness all the way up). It will be perfect for my garage when I quit teaching. Cons: The included plastic hanging pins didn't even fit in the mounting holes so I just used screws, which seems much more secure anyway. It doesn't come with a brick to plug it in, just the USB cable. Everyone probably has an extra USB phone charger around the house so no big deal. Setting up the clock is a little wonky since after you press "set," you only get about 3 seconds to press the buttons you need before it times out and you have to start the process all over again. The writing on the buttons is tiny too but I did get it all figured out eventually. After using it for two weeks, I downgraded this item to 3 stars. The clock works fine but the timer is terrible. After clicking on the button for the Timer, you only get 2-3 seconds to put your time in and press "ok" to start the timer. After that, it doesn't work and there's no way to navigate back to the clock so you have to power off and try again-Ridiculous. Also, sometimes the timer doesn't work at all. If you don't care about a time or stopwatch, then this is a decent, bright clock. I may send it back for a replacement to see if a new one has a better timer (which I use in the classroom). ... show more
