So I got this for my teenage son's bedroom. So this input is based on his output. The clock is easy to set and the look of it is sleek and modern and tolerable for a teenage boy. It's plugged in but also has a backup battery to keep the time if it were to get unplugged for a time. The screen is nice and bright and the numbers are large enough to see well across the room. The only complaint from my son is that it's not always easy for his phone to find the sweet spot to charge. But it works and does its job. While I didn't get it for him so that he'd have a colorful place to charge his phone, I got it for him to have an alarm so he can learn to wake himself up in the mornings. This little alarm clock has a great digital display. Love that I can adjust the brightness. We dont use it as an alarm clock so much, more to see what time it is in the night. The display is huge so you dont need to put your glasses on. Plus the ceiling display is a bonus.

So initially, I thought I loved this clock, but then I quickly realized it’s unreliable. I discovered it only allows you to snooze twice before it automatically shuts off. There were nights when I know I had it set but for whatever reason, the indicator light is off in the morning. And then there are weekends when I know I didn’t have it set (indicator light is not on) and yet it still goes off. I’m so paranoid that I double and tripled check this thing and yet it still doesn’t function the way it’s suppose to. The charger on the base works but is a bit finicky. Number one, the light has a dimmer on it but it is still too bright! I had to cover it up with a towel and turn it toward the wall. Obviously not ideal, however if you need a night light… this is your clock. Number two, my phone won’t charge on it unless I take the cover off, and my cover isn’t a really thick one either.
