I love the fact that it's super easy to assemble (just screw in the 4 legs and you're done!), and that it's attractive. It is fairly comfortable to sit on in the upright position. It's also easy to change from sitting to sleeping mode. However, in sleeping mode, it feels like you're laying on a steel pipe going right down the center of the mattress! It's nearly impossible to sleep on it on your side or stomach, and the back is only marginally better. If you can manage to only take up half of it, you'll perhaps be okay, but honestly I would look elsewhere if you're ever looking to sleep on the futon! ... show more

For a < $200 futon this one is awesome. It was easy to assemble, just screw on the legs. It was light enough my wife could move it without an issue (both assembled and in the box). There were a few dents in the legs when we received it but they are difficult to notice once set up -- and again it was a 'cheap' futon. It sits lower than expected but its certainly functional. Comfortable to sit on, but i'm not sure i would want it to be our primary couch but its perfect for the office (mainly used by the dogs). No one has slept on it yet, it certainly wont accommodate anyone large (laying on the seat my 5"4' wife is just about the right fit). ... show more

This $120 couch won't pass for anything more expensive... The stitching is "eh" and the buttons look like they will rip off if they get caught on clothes or something. It is pretty low, but not uncomfortably so, and you can raise it a few inches with a block of wood under the legs. Folded flat, the bed part is "ok" I could sleep one or two nights in it, but I wouldn't want to sleep on it every night. The middle bit is hard and unpadded when flat. Overall, I'd say it's worth what we paid ($100 on sale) but not more ... show more

I'll start off by saying this futon looks nice, it's just fine as a piece of decorative furniture, but that's about where it ends. It's tiny, almost child sized. Adults sitting on this will have your knees in your chest. I'd expected it to be comfortable enough to relax for a short while or fold down into a bed for guests, but the floor is more comfortable than feeling the supports digging into your back. The cushioning is thin and weak, once you sit down you can feel the supports underneath that hold it together. The positive to this design is that it takes no effort to assemble, it's all once solid piece and you only need to screw the legs into the base. The legs were held inside the futon itself in a storage pouch that's built into the back, but this empty space in the furniture could have easily been used to add cushioning and support. If you do decide to purchase, do NOT pay for the assembly as the unit is already put together and legs and be screwed on in less than 30 seconds with no tools required. ... show more
