Very easy to use, very handy product. You must understand though that this is no substitute for a high powered pressure washer. It’s not going to strip clean your driveway or dirty sidewalks. But for washing your car, or knocking mildew off your exterior windows or house trim, or perhaps cleaning a wood deck, this is an extremely handy tool. I recommend using a minimum of 6ah battery, even then you only get about 30 mins of run time before battery is drained.     • Not Bad for the Price
This is not a replacement for an electric or gas pressure washer. But it does do a good job increasing the pressure of your hose's water flow. It is pretty heavy, especially if you are using 6.0 Amp Hour batteries which I recommend you do. I washed two cars this afternoon and I went through 3 x 6.0 Amp batteries and a 20V power stack battery. The foam cannon soap bottle does work, but it consumes the soap very fast. Would be nice if the dilution rate had some adjustment on it. Also, I worry that the quick connect fitting at the water filter is a weak spot. Seems like a lot of weight pulling on this plastic piece. I would purchase again. It is much easier to use than having to drag out a full plow pressure washer and does provide a pretty powerful stream. ... show more

    • Adjust your expectations and it’s a great tool
I understand the contempt this thing gets. Dewalt has marketed it as a power washer and it is not that. Poor move on Dewalt’s part, especially since this is a super handy tool. I live on several acres in the country. My well pump makes terrible water pressure with even a 50 ft hose and that’s barely long enough to reach my driveway. This tool plus a five gallon bucket has allowed me to clean things that have not been cleaned in years. The kids’ play set, the pole barn, the retaining wall blocks, and many others. It’s not very strong but I do think it lives up to its 550 ft lb rating and that has been plenty for me. The people who say it’s not stronger than their garden hose must have insanely powerful water pressure. Don’t think of this tool as a power washer. Think of it as a highly portable, well-pressurized garden hose. If that sounds like something you need, it is definitely worth the cost. ... show more

    • Just put a nozzle on your regular hose.
I bought and returned this unit last year. It took me some time to get around to the review but I think my opinion could be valuable to some. I'm a happy and mostly loyal DeWalt customer. I have a large selection of their 20v tools as they are typically well built items that last and all run on the same battery platform. The pressure washer (if you can call it that) didn't live up to the name printed on the side in any way. Cheap plastic hose connections didn't start the first unboxing with confidence but I plugged the hose onto the bottom and gave a test round wash on my truck with a fully charged 6.0 Ah battery. I was shocked, not only did it have very little in the way of pressure, but the amount of water it delivered was very restricted. It didn't touch the dirt stuck to the panels. I'm not talking about thickly caked on mud from off reading, just typical NY road grime after a few rainy day drives. I took the Dewalt off and just hooked my hose nozzle back up and washed my truck with much better results. It's also unwieldy, you might hit a plastic chair and be happy with the simple convenience of battery and fully handheld but you're going to work harder holding this puppy up the whole time than if you had just taken a scrubby to the chair (and would probably get better results). Some might say I didn't give it a fair shot only using it once but when you compare it to other Dewalt tools it's easy to see this one underperformed. ... show more

This is a waste of money, the hype is not real. Totally not what your expecting from Dewalt. Water from your home has more pressure than this POS. Soap bottle is Standalone and doesn’t work in conjunction with the HIGH pressure fittings.

    • Great little tool
Like most people, I read the reviews about the DeWalt pressure washer and I was skeptical. But the more I read, the more I decided to give it a shot. All the people that wrote this tool is a down version of an actual big pressure washer, BUT a step up from just using the hose, perfect way to describe it. It is easy to get running and what is nice, only one hose to worry about and no cords. It doesn't have massive power, but I was impressed with what it can do. Don't buy this if you need the full deal of a pressure washer, but if you are like me, I just wanted to give my garden hose a bit more bite when cleaning up the mower and my SBS. ... show more

Worked well for me. I wanted quick and easy to deploy pressure washer for small quick jobs with the freedom of mobility. I own a more powerful 120v pressure washer. But I only use it when I have a big job because it needs more set up, a power plug near by and a hose bib. Sure, this product is not as powerful (only 550 psi) as the other. But the advertisement is clear. Same could be said about electric chain saws. This product fits my needs perfectly for quick jobs when I need to go out in the yard away from house. ... show more

    • Beware of this seemingly awsome product
I was so excited to get this pressure washer but it was a huge let down. Most DEWALT tools are great. However, the pressure washer is junk. It leaks terribly, getting the hose on correctly takes several tries and coupling is so cheap, I am sure it will break easily. Also there is no hose gasket provided so make sure you add one because it will leak at the hose connection as well. Mine completely stopped working after maybe 5 times using it. I will contact DEWALT to see about warranty but I have little hopes for this being a reliable tool. ... show more
