It's lovely, it took me a few hours to put together but was pretty straightforward. I bought this for my art supplies and other tools, It's perfect for holding paints, markers, and pretty much any tiny tool you own. I also use it to store spare pc parts, as I rebuild those as well. The upper cabinet stores my sketchbooks, paint pans and extra markers just fine with enough room for more. For mine, the drawers don't shut completely flush, I'm not sure if this was due to an error on my part or not but I don't really care too much as it does exactly what I wanted it for. DEVAISE 5-Drawer Wood Dresser with file Cabinet, Mobile Chest of Drawers: My husband and I took our time putting this together and it took us about 2 ½ hours. The instructions were just pictures without words, but they were simple and easy to understand. We did have to redo one of the rails for a drawer because we accidentally put the screws in the wrong place, but that was on us. There is one drawer that was catching sometimes when I was closing it and I had to really push to close it. I examined it and one of the screws needed to be tightened. After that it glides easily. It sort of surprised me that after it was all put together the drawers all lined up and it looks very nice. They glide in and out easily. The only confusing thing on the instructions was the very last step when you put the plastic pieces in the corners to help stabilize it. The picture was not very clear on how to put them in, but we followed what seemed logical to us and we are pleased with the results. You will see them in the picture with the iron in it. I am using it next to my sewing machine and it works well for that, but I think it would be practical for an office or in a closet for extra storage. You can see that the cubby is roomy with plenty of room for my iron and more. I can leave my iron plugged in and the cord comes out where the hole is for your hand. I have a couple of the drawers filled with sewing supplies. They are deep enough to be useful but not so deep that things get lost. We just put it together so I can't speak about durability yet, but it looks like it will hold up well. The box that it was shipped in was sturdy and we did not have any damaged pieces. They provided extra screws and other small parts in case any were lost. I would definitely buy from this seller again and purchase other Devaise products if I needed them. ... show more

This is a flatpack that requires quite a bit of assembly, using the thinnest composite boards possible, It is a minimalistic design, and uses the minimum of attachment hardware, yet it is quite sturdy and robust. Clever. Not particularly elegant or impressive, but functional. If you are just looking for functional, then it works for you. Mine had no defects or marrs. Quite well packaged and goes together well, although you'll need a magnifying glass to follow the instructions, especially to see which holes to use on the drawer slider mechanism. ... show more

I'm a nail tech and I use this for my tools, art supplies, some polishes, extra cords, and snacks/drinks. The base of the drawers are cardboard so you can't put too much weight in them, but they work fine for what I use them for! It looks really nice and professional in my work space instead of having plastic organizers. Took me awhile to put it together (I'm VERY challenged when it comes to these things, I get overwhelmed so easily) but I was able to get it done myself ... show more

I bought 2 units from this brand. Built the lower one first. I found the directions clear enough on both but on the lower piece, the larger sections were not labeled. I'm experienced in RTA furniture so I figured it out. This taller unit had every section labeled. Took about 2 hours to build each alone. They provide a screwdriver, which was very nice. And extra screws and such. I personally used a drill after starting the screw with the driver. Faster and less exhausting to the hands. The one issue with the tall one was the labels had a different adhesive. They didn't come off well and left a sticky residue. I'll try some adhesive remover tomorrow. Also, note that the laminate/veneer is not the best quality. Some chipping when inserting the cam bolts. Luckily, they get covered by other pieces. I'm using it for my large tool collection so don't need anything fancy. All my friends say they look fantastic. Much better than a toolbox on wheels in bright red metal, in my opinion. This way it can also serve as a functional piece. FYI. Very heavy. ... show more
