The media could not be loaded. I bought a total of 3 units from this seller, including 2 of this style with the vertical orientation of 5 drawers with a big cubby on top. I am very artsy, crafty, and sew-y, so I have accumulated a lot of supplies that make me very happy and that I want easy access to. I was sick of stowing them in a hodge podge of mismatched Sterilite drawer units that were warping and hard to open and close. During Black Friday season I found these products at a really great price. They had better dimensions and reviews than other similar brands'. After a bit of research I decided this was the best way to go, and I went all in on the 3 units, hoping it was the right amount of storage for my supplies. As you can see it has worked out great, and the fact that I had a legless Ikea Linnmon tabletop on hand to prop on top has just made this set up awesome for stowing all my things and becoming a work station too :) Assembly was standard, expected work and difficulty level. My husband and I teamed up for most of it, and we were glad to have a power drill for all the screwing in that this called for. It saved us a lot of time and energy. If you watch my video, you will see that I was less than pleased with how the "cubby" doors ended up lining up after installation, but I don't know if that's something to blame on the manufacturer. Maybe the guide holes were put in the wrong spot, maybe it was assembler (my) error. Also I want to mention that the little clear label holders on the drawers did NOT come with these units. I bought those separately and measured out and marked exactly where to stick those, so that I can eventually put notecards in there saying what is each drawer. ... show more

This is a flatpack that requires quite a bit of assembly, using the thinnest composite boards possible, It is a minimalistic design, and uses the minimum of attachment hardware, yet it is quite sturdy and robust. Clever. Not particularly elegant or impressive, but functional. If you are just looking for functional, then it works for you. Mine had no defects or marrs. Quite well packaged and goes together well, although you'll need a magnifying glass to follow the instructions, especially to see which holes to use on the drawer slider mechanism. ... show more

It's lovely, it took me a few hours to put together but was pretty straightforward. I bought this for my art supplies and other tools, It's perfect for holding paints, markers, and pretty much any tiny tool you own. I also use it to store spare pc parts, as I rebuild those as well. The upper cabinet stores my sketchbooks, paint pans and extra markers just fine with enough room for more. For mine, the drawers don't shut completely flush, I'm not sure if this was due to an error on my part or not but I don't really care too much as it does exactly what I wanted it for. DEVAISE 5-Drawer Wood Dresser with file Cabinet, Mobile Chest of Drawers: My husband and I took our time putting this together and it took us about 2 ½ hours. The instructions were just pictures without words, but they were simple and easy to understand. We did have to redo one of the rails for a drawer because we accidentally put the screws in the wrong place, but that was on us. There is one drawer that was catching sometimes when I was closing it and I had to really push to close it. I examined it and one of the screws needed to be tightened. After that it glides easily. It sort of surprised me that after it was all put together the drawers all lined up and it looks very nice. They glide in and out easily. The only confusing thing on the instructions was the very last step when you put the plastic pieces in the corners to help stabilize it. The picture was not very clear on how to put them in, but we followed what seemed logical to us and we are pleased with the results. You will see them in the picture with the iron in it. I am using it next to my sewing machine and it works well for that, but I think it would be practical for an office or in a closet for extra storage. You can see that the cubby is roomy with plenty of room for my iron and more. I can leave my iron plugged in and the cord comes out where the hole is for your hand. I have a couple of the drawers filled with sewing supplies. They are deep enough to be useful but not so deep that things get lost. We just put it together so I can't speak about durability yet, but it looks like it will hold up well. The box that it was shipped in was sturdy and we did not have any damaged pieces. They provided extra screws and other small parts in case any were lost. I would definitely buy from this seller again and purchase other Devaise products if I needed them. ... show more

So far I’m satisfied. The built quality is comparable with IKEA. I also ordered another variant of this drawer from another company. It was 10 dollars cheaper but the built quality was terrible and now I have to return that one. I’m not sure why amazing recommended that one to me.

Way too much assembly required for the price. Poor quality "flat pack" construction. The title misrepresents this. It is clearly a kit and should say so. Not only are there dozens of parts, repair is needed. This is WAY overpriced. Clearly Devaise is a brand to avoid.
