DEVAISE 5-Drawer Wood Dresser with file Cabinet, Mobile Chest of Drawers: My husband and I took our time putting this together and it took us about 2 ½ hours. The instructions were just pictures without words, but they were simple and easy to understand. We did have to redo one of the rails for a drawer because we accidentally put the screws in the wrong place, but that was on us. There is one drawer that was catching sometimes when I was closing it and I had to really push to close it. I examined it and one of the screws needed to be tightened. After that it glides easily. It sort of surprised me that after it was all put together the drawers all lined up and it looks very nice. They glide in and out easily. The only confusing thing on the instructions was the very last step when you put the plastic pieces in the corners to help stabilize it. The picture was not very clear on how to put them in, but we followed what seemed logical to us and we are pleased with the results. You will see them in the picture with the iron in it. I am using it next to my sewing machine and it works well for that, but I think it would be practical for an office or in a closet for extra storage. You can see that the cubby is roomy with plenty of room for my iron and more. I can leave my iron plugged in and the cord comes out where the hole is for your hand. I have a couple of the drawers filled with sewing supplies. They are deep enough to be useful but not so deep that things get lost. We just put it together so I can't speak about durability yet, but it looks like it will hold up well. The box that it was shipped in was sturdy and we did not have any damaged pieces. They provided extra screws and other small parts in case any were lost. I would definitely buy from this seller again and purchase other Devaise products if I needed them. ... show more

U can see inside the drawers First drawer: Just a small bags for my iPad and MacBook.. (still have space, not full yet) second: a box of Cable: IPhone charger, usb cable….. (still have space, not full yet, just Cables, super light) third: color pencils fourth&fifth: fill with pencils… The larger drawer: u can see. Books, paper….. Is it hard to put them together? Yes took me few hours. My hands hurts…. 🥹🥹 But it worth. Looking good. Now, I need to go clean up my floor.. No more dust on my books and other supplies ~~~ ... show more

This is a flatpack that requires quite a bit of assembly, using the thinnest composite boards possible, It is a minimalistic design, and uses the minimum of attachment hardware, yet it is quite sturdy and robust. Clever. Not particularly elegant or impressive, but functional. If you are just looking for functional, then it works for you. Mine had no defects or marrs. Quite well packaged and goes together well, although you'll need a magnifying glass to follow the instructions, especially to see which holes to use on the drawer slider mechanism. ... show more

It's lovely, it took me a few hours to put together but was pretty straightforward. I bought this for my art supplies and other tools, It's perfect for holding paints, markers, and pretty much any tiny tool you own. I also use it to store spare pc parts, as I rebuild those as well. The upper cabinet stores my sketchbooks, paint pans and extra markers just fine with enough room for more. For mine, the drawers don't shut completely flush, I'm not sure if this was due to an error on my part or not but I don't really care too much as it does exactly what I wanted it for. Overall, I adore it and it is decent quality. I'm not going to worry about it falling apart or anything and it holds everything I need it for. ... show more

    • Much better than expected
I bought 2 of these to be the ends of a craft table (a kitchen countertop between them). They go together like any other unassembled stuff you buy, dowels, cams and screws. There are a lot of steps so it takes some time but I put Sirius XM on and took my time. They are quite nice when done. The only thing I don't like are the plastic wheels. They don't roll well on my hardwood floors so I bought new heavy duty wheels on Amazon for $16. Some tips I like: I NEVER put any of this stuff together without wood glue. When you see people say they aren't sturdy, that's probably why. Unless you plan on taking it apart (why would you) glue is the way to go. Get an old container filled with water and a rag to wipe off excess glue as you go. I glue the wooden pegs in as well as glue on all edges that but up to each other. I put glue in the slots for the drawer bottoms and the backs so I didn't need the little clips to hold the back on. If you still want to use the clips you need to put them on before the glue dries on the backs. Be careful not to strip out the screws and cams. I use a battery powered driver to get the screws almost all of the way in and hand tighten them the rest of the way. The cams tighten clockwise. Lay out all of your pieces and sort the hardware and screws. Pay attention to the screw and peg sizes as well as the cams and pegs. There are 2 different sizes, all labeled. As far as reversing the door...Yes, it's totally possible to do. I did. If you are not comfortable with measuring the screw hole spacing, tape a piece of paper over the existing holes and use a sharp pencil to "pop" the holes where the screws go. Flip the paper over (left to right) to make sure you are "mirroring" the hole placement and tape it to the other board. Mark the holes with a pencil. I used a scratch awl/punch to tap the pencil marks to make starter holes for the screws. You could drill them but you risk going too deep or too big of holes. It does put the cut out handle on the bottom but I didn't mind that. As far as putting the drawers on top and the cubby hole on the bottom, that is not possible without drilling all new drawer slide holes and you better be good at measuring unless you use my template method and get it in the right place. I actually think there is a version of that on Amazon if you look. I totally recommend this cabinet ... show more
