This honey is one of the best on the market. Excellent flavor and a fairly good consistency, it does not crystallize and therefore I will continue buying it since not only is it a good product but it also has a very special flavor. Shipping is fast and it comes with a seal on its lid that makes it very difficult for it to open during its journey to its destination and spill the honey. So I highly recommend it since I repeat this product is one of the best on the market. I have tried to buy other brands which are not even close in taste, much less in the quality of this product, which is of very high quality and 100% pure in my personal opinion and it is the best honey I have tried in the world in to many years, not only that but it's American honey. I give this praise to this company that produces it in Texas because I think they DESERVED IT as producers of this delicacy since according to what I read the story of this person since he was a child he is dedicated to preserving bees which are, as we all know, very essential in the mother nature. I am a honey buff. I haven't used sugar in decades. I put honey in everything (starting in the morning with my coffee). I started this when I was a College Freshman about 65 years ago and by now I consider myself a True Honey Expert. So, when I tell you this is the Rock Star of Honey, trust me on this one.. I live in the Hill Country in Texas and these honey bees live close by so I know that I’m getting good quality honey. I have never been a big fan of honey but I have CKD and I drink different teas and honey is actually good for those with CKD. So I did research and read reviews and like I said I discovered that this honey is nearby. I sighed and accepted that I needed to use honey instead of sugar or sweeteners. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted this honey and discovered that it is absolutely delicious!! I put it in a kidney tea, green tea and hibiscus tea and I’m very happy knowing I am doing good things for my kidneys ….it’s pretty nice to know that something like honey is going to give me a normal life span!! I was so sad thinking I had only so many years to live. I thought of how my future grandchildren would never know me and I would never know them. But drinking these teas with this delicious honey keeps my numbers going in the positive directions!! I don’t leave reviews very often but every once in awhile something makes me very happy and I feel I HAVE to leave a review…..thank God for this boy who at a very young age got some honeybees and discovered his calling!! The bottle of honey arrived undamaged in my mailbox it was packaged good. It has a seal that you have to peel out and re attach the the flip spout. However the seal was not sealed properly, it was only glued half way. Seal is very important for peace of mind so it should have been sealed properly. The taste is alright I really hope it's pure honey because it has molasses after taste not to insult the owner. I'm just comparing it to the Meluka raw honey from Australia that I bought from amazon that one was really good but kinda pricey for me. I'll try this Texan honey because it's unpasteurized and affordable unless it doesn't help with my allergies. The Meluka really works for my allergies. I'll go back to it if this doesn't work.
