  • Delicious
Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 2)
I live in the Hill Country in Texas and these honey bees live close by so I know that I’m getting good quality honey. I have never been a big fan of honey but I have CKD and I drink different teas and honey is actually good for those with CKD. So I did research and read reviews and like I said I discovered that this honey is nearby. I sighed and accepted that I needed to use honey instead of sugar or sweeteners. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted this honey and discovered that it is absolutely delicious!! I put it in a kidney tea, green tea and hibiscus tea and I’m very happy knowing I am doing good things for my kidneys ….it’s pretty nice to know that something like honey is going to give me a normal life span!! I was so sad thinking I had only so many years to live. I thought of how my future grandchildren would never know me and I would never know them. But drinking these teas with this delicious honey keeps my numbers going in the positive directions!! I don’t leave reviews very often but every once in awhile something makes me very happy and I feel I HAVE to leave a review…..thank God for this boy who at a very young age got some honeybees and discovered his calling!! His honey is wonderful and if you’re not sure about what honey to buy just get this honey!! You will be very happy you did!! ... show more

Mr. Blake Shook! I was pleasantly surprised when I seen this honey I took a chance on showed up with your name on it. I am a much smaller hobbiest beekeeper. I started with 1 package , built it into 4 strong hives. And lost 3 overwinter. Had no fall harvest. Had to resort to buying honey and I’m happy to support a good guy that I feel I know. Thank you Blake, good luck with you and yours. Thanks for holding me down until I get my flow going again . Great honey , great price. ... show more

  • Fantastic Raw Honey Great flavor and Great color
Size: 192 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Thank you Desert Creek for this fantastic honey. I love it and will order it again! One thing that was a little confusing was the weight so I looked it up. This may be helpful to others. You may want to put some of this information about the weight of honey on your amazon page and/or your webpage. Is honey heavier than water? If you’re measuring out water, then 1 fluid ounce of water, which is a measurement of volume, weighs exactly 1 ounce. However, because honey is so much denser than water, it weighs a good deal more. This means that 1 fluid ounce of honey will actually weigh a little bit more than 1 ounce. How much does 16 fluid ounces of honey weigh? Sixteen fluid ounces or 1 pint of water is almost always exactly 16 ounces or 1 pound in weight, except for when the temperature of the water is very warm. Honey, however, is much heavier. Sixteen ounces of honey is only equal to about 11 fluid ounces. This means that if you need 16 fluid ounces of honey, the weight of that amount of honey will be just over 23.2 ounces, or a bit more than 1 pound. Almost all honey weighs relatively the same. However, exactly how much honey weighs will depend on the type of honey and what particular nectar was used to make it. It will also depend on how the honey was processed after it was collected. How much does 1 gallon of honey weigh? We know that 16 fluid ounces of honey weighs 23.2 ounces. There are 128 fluid ounces in 1 gallon. This means that, in order to figure out how much 1 gallon of honey weighs, we need to first divide 128 by 16. The answer is 8, which tells us that there are 8 pints in 1 gallon. We can then multiply 8 by 23.2 since there are 23.2 ounces in 1 pint of honey. The answer is 185.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs 185.6 ounces. There are 16 ounces in 1 pound, so we can simplify our answer by dividing by 16. The answer is 11.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs just over 11 and a half pounds. : ) ... show more

  • Great value!
Size: 192 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Love that this raw honey comes from a small business. Support American beekeepers! I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately it arrived with a cracked lid and I had to find a replacement so the ants didn’t get to my honey stash.
