Update: Received the new brush and it is different from the one I received before. Slightly lighter, plain block logo. This is probably fake..I'm sure the first one wss too, but they did a better job of hiding it! Next time I'll buy directly from Denman. This brush is great for detangling coily hair and worked fine until I noticed some missing bristles that I think fell out when I dropped the brush on my bathroom vanity. I thought I was content with the signature long and thing Denman brush, even though mine was old, missing half its combs, and my hair would break it constantly and make it come apart. I am so glad I saw this because I didn't even know it existed. I only brush my hair on wash days, and so this has cut down my detangling time in half. Also, it helps distribute product through my hair better, because it's able to work more in at once, and less brushes means less frizz (for my hair). ... show more

I love denman comb since i was in junior high. I've collected a few.....hoping to collect more, they are so gentle on my scalp. The bristle isdurable but doesn't hurt my scalp or my hair. Love love denman product .

I've used many, many kinds of paddle brushes over the years. I have thick, coarse hair. Many paddle brushes got the job done, but I lost a lot of hair each time. This is the only hairbrush I've used that doesn't rip out much hair. Plus, the bristles are long enough to really get into the thickness of my hair and stimulate my scalp (important for hair growth).
