This was packaged very well and came with clear instructions. Quite frankly it's much nicer than I expected for the money. We purchased this for my mother who is a senior and no longer has a car. She lives in a 55 plus golf community were the main mode of transportation for residents is golf carts. My mom needed something that she could ride up to the mailbox and the garbage area that a quite a long walk from her unit. Due to my mom's declining health, we did not want to spend a large amount of money on a golf cart as she will likely have to move to a senior facility in the not-too-distant future so this seemed like a perfect solution and so far it has been. She likes it, it's easy and comfortable for her to ride and it seems steady and to top it off she has been getting a ton of compliments and envy from her neighbors which has made her happy. ... show more

We live a few blocks from our son and my wife rides this scooter back and forth almost daily. The speed is perfect for the neighborhood, and it is sturdy and steady, The unit came fully assembled except for the mirrors which easily screwed in.

When I arrived at my residence the red scooter was placed on the pavement wrapped in plastic- ABF freight guy was sitting inside his truck- he told me my scooter was ready for the road. I rode the scooter and immediately I began to hear the loud sounds. I gave it a couple of days. The sound began to get worst by the day. I contacted amazon for a refund ( the agreement states a refund was available for the scooter) The 3rd party seller -Amanda, from EWHEELS DELUXE scooter, contacted me and told me that I needed the original package for the scooter. Amanda, was trying to send me directly to the warranty dept. She will not answers my calls or emails to inform me what the original packaging looks like. Amazon, continues to tell me that they will contact me in 24/48 hrs. I received the scooter April 13th- today is May 22nd. I have over 30 emails going back and forth with Amazon because know one speaks to you anymore. The SCOOTER IS VERY LOW QUALITY FOR THE $2,000 PRICE TAG. Product itself is excellent. Had a problem contacted their service department. They dealt with it. Problem is they knew the instructions on battery charging were not updated. As a result the battery was overcharged and they are sending a new battery. Rude and accusatory language was not necessary. Love, love the new scooter. Went with my grandkids scout troop to the nature center for their hike to get a badge. It was so easy to go from gravel to grass to board walk. It has several safety features that are awesome so that I can be seen and heard out in public. I've been out cleaning up trash and tree limbs out of my yard. I feel almost like my old self again and I don't get out of breath . Things I would change would be the mirrors I finally just took them off because they could not move enough to adjust so I could see into them, and while I like having a back up beeper it is a little bit too loud and echos off the walls in big places like sams and walmart. It needs to be able to be adjusted to a softer beep. And living near a dirt road my big beautiful sexy high red gets dirty easily. I absolutely love the freedom it has given me. I even take the dogs out for walks and runs now. And it is a really looker many people have stopped me to ask about it. The nature center volunteers took down information about it, phone numbers and are gonna see if they can request some of these to be bought for use at centers around Missouri. Remember me if they call and buy them.lol Since I did this review I have gotten a SDC pass. Many many people have stopped me for information on where I got it, how much, what do I think and I have never gotten out of the 2nd gear even climbing the very steep hills at silver dollar city. I love riding it in my 55 and older community. I'd much rather have this than a Golf Cart. It's the envy of the neighborhood. The Red color is my favorite. Easy + Fun to ride. Loving this scooter! Got the red color. Turning a lot of heads in the neighborhood, for sure! Love zipping down to the mailbox kiosk and cruising the other sections around the area. I think this is way better than a golf cart. I can ride this on the sidewalks or our neighborhood streets like a bicycle. I had a single speed adult tricycle with a basket in the back. Physically, this is much easier for me than peddling, so I sold the trike and bought this scooter. Having so much fun! Delivery was perfect and easy to unbox.
