So far this set is one of my favorite additions to the play kitchen so far. Not only are the pieces made well and not bulky but it's one of the few to focus on vegetables and proteins instead of fruit AND it introduces more international type dishes. Pros - -- No giant 'counters' to store, everything packs up nicely in those ubiquitous plastic ripstop bags - Includes ability to cook and serve meal - Variety of textures and interactive elements (felt peppers, wooden soup disk that's two sided, wooden vegetables and proteins). Because the veggies are mostly wood they slide well in the skillet to simulate the saute action. The salt and pepper shakers also make a shaking noise. Cons: None really but still on the hunt for wood or felt proteins that are 3D. Note: Although the S&P shakers have what sounds like beads inside the holes in the top aren't drilled through (you can see wood at the bottom), and the shaker insert on the bottom is very secure. ... show more

Easy enough to put together. I did put the backer on backwards so I did not screw the back screw in seems sturdy enough. Smaller than it looks but fits great in the space I have. Wish it came with more pegs to fill in the holes.

Got these to go along with a play kitchen my 3 year old autistic niece got for Christmas. Her therapist said it’s exactly what she was looking for. The goal is to get her interested in things she will be able to utilize later in life and can learn through play now. They seem well made as of now but only time will tell. Well I hate to leave a one star review because these are made incredibly well. However I only received the pan, pot, plates, bowl, salt and pepper shaker, olive oil and only 2 spoons. As it’s advertised as 25pc and missing 14 of them is quite disappointing. They really are so well made so if I were to receive it all these would be a 5 star. The salt and pepper makes noice when shaken which is a cute addition. Not one piece is made of cheap plastic, even the spoons are worden just like ones you would cook with so makes learning to cook even better as it’s the real deal ... show more
