I bought this for a 3/4 bathroom in my house that stays steamy after a shower. This little guy works well and works hard. It is quiet and always has water it pulled from the air. This little thing works wonders and sucks up so much water! Definitely recommend if you are getting to much moisture in your closet, RV or room. I live in a trailer/RV and my bedroom started to get moldy in the closets and the nightstands next to the bed, windows are super moist and this has HELPED SO MUCH!! My stuff no longer gets moldy and I can breathe so much better without all that moisture in the air. I have to dump the water tray ever couple days, which is really easy to empty. The lights are really cool, I like the colors and how you can turn the lights off. I'd give it more then 5 stars if I could! BUY IT! EDIT: I'm so bummed it stopped working right only 4 months of having it. It now makes a really loud noise when on. I can't believe it, it worked great when it did work. I purchased this because my house has a damp issue in the winter and especially with all the rain this year. My bedroom gets this least amount of sun and my walk in closet and bathroom are an issue. I purchased this small dehumidifier to help, it was in my budget range, the right size (small enough to sit on a closet shelf) and quiet enough to be running at night in my bedroom. (Im a light sleeper). This is cute, compact, quiet and has an auto shut off when the basin is full. After 24 hours it is working great and the space is drying out. The media could not be loaded. So I have about I want to say maybe a 270 Sq ft bedroom. Have had it for almost a month. It's not too loud. Just realized that you are not supposed to have these near a window. You need to have them clear of a door way or a window. Made a nice difference due to the recent humidity in Southern California.     • Works Great for me!
I use this in a closet where firearms are stored to keep the humidity down. It works great! My only gripe is that I have I wanted to plug it into a wifi plug so I can set it on a schedule to come on and turn off, but when the plug turns on, the dehumidifier doesn't come on, it has to be manually turned on with the power button each time...oh well, it's great, small, fits perfectly where I want it, I can deal with it for now. It doesn't consume a lot of electricity and when the water basin is full, it shuts off automatically anyway. Always keeps the closet to an acceptable level of humidity. ... show more

Died after a year. Worked great at first. Then at about 7 months it started to have motor problems. I got it going again a couple of times but the last time it quit all together and started leaking water everywhere.

I bought this dehumidifer and one other (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGN335KB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) to dehumidify in the hope that I wouldn't have to work the AC so hard. Both worked great! A ton of water removed from the air, making it comfortable to set the AC at a higher temperature and save $$. This one has a slight advantage over the Sanvinder in convenience in that you remove the water via a tray. Update: I came home to a burninng-rubber smell and it was coming from the dehimidifier. I unplugged the dehumidifier, and it went away. I now only keep it on when I am in the room, and the dehumidifier itself has gotten quite hot. (Not enough to heat up the room, but hot to the touch.) I would not recommend this for an unsupervised space, such as a garage or closet. The Sanvinder, the other dehumidifer I bought (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGN335KB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1), has been working well, without any problems. ... show more
