This works amazingly well for its size. It’s about the size of a bathroom trash can. I’m not sure why I thought it would be larger but likely due to the size of the room that it can handle. This replaced our larger one in our basement. It is FAR more quiet. It does have a smaller tank for storing the drawn in moisture but that is to be expected with the size. The unit is more efficient than our prior unit that was a Frigidaire brand. It is great because of the size it can actually be placed further back into the room than our previous one. I bought this mainly for my office. The home I'm in is roughly 3,500 sq ft so I wasn't trying to dehumidify everything given it's max is 1,000 sq feet. I put in my office and can leave the door open and it works fantastic in getting rid of humidity for my whole top floor. I was impressed. The features made it easy to set it and forget it and the module can be tightly packed in a corner since it's not that big. Ran it all night during a rain storm and with 96% humidity outside. Just two drops of water in the tank. Running in a 420sqft area. Looks like another bad Amazon purchase. Will be returning.
