-I've been using it for 3-4 days, 16 hours a day. Reduces humidity in 165 square feet to high 40s fairly quickly. -Smaller than prior dehumidifiers I've used but feels well built -Fan is quiet but powerful enough to feel ~10 feet away, compressor is barely audible. My fairly quiet window ac drowns it out even on low speed. -Small reservoir, if you don't have a place to run the drain tube and have a large/very humid area it might be worth looking for a unit with higher reservoir capacity, I empty it twice a day in a well insulated sealed single room building. -In the unlikely event that you run high gain sensitive audio equipment be advised this this dumps EMF interference like nothing I've ever seen. I had to put it as far as possible from tweeter amp on it's own dedicated breaker box (w/ dedicated ground) to prevent it from making my gear hiss loudly. Maybe an isolator of some sort on the AC and a grounded faraday fabric shield would do the trick but I had a second box for hvac so it turned out ok. Three other appliances in the room have compressors (freezer, fridge, ac) and none of them interfere with amplifiers. ... show more

This unit is much smaller than my last one but very efficient so far. I have only had for 3 days now and using it in a basement that doesn’t have a lot of humidity. Also quieter than my last one. I do wish the water reservoir was larger though.

So far this little dehumidifier is doing its job! I have a partial basement so I ordered this light weight dehumidifier that I could carry down myself. It has a continuous hose which I hooked up and I drilled a hole in my sump pump lid and it’s been working great! I didn’t want to have to go down and empty such a small container, so the continuous hose was the best option for me. It is quiet and the value was good. It brought the humidity in my basement down to 42 and right now where I live the temperature is 92 degrees and the humidity is off the charts. I continue to monitor it and I am pleased. I used to have a terrible, musty odor coming from my basement after my old dehumidifier died and I am so pleased with this purchase! ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect but this unit pulls moisture from the air very well. I an amazed every time I have to empty it. But I can definitely feel a difference in the house. I probably need to order another one since my ceilings are high and I have it in an open space. I used it in my bedroom one night and it quickly reached the desired level because it was in a smaller space. Seriously considering ordering another one, maybe a third for upstairs. I was surprised at how quickly this unit pulled so much water from the atmosphere. Within hours my basement was so much more arid. The unit is a machine, so it has some heft to it. But the castor rollers make moving it very easy. Emptying the unit is simple and quick. The pan is in the front making it so much easier than those with the pan in the back.
