  • Didnt come with thermal paste tube, only pre applied
Style: AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS
Haven't tested the cooler yet, but I'll either be lowering or rasing my review by 1 star depending on the cooling performance. But I'm not happy this didn't come with a tube of paste. What if i need to troubleshoot something and i have to take off the cooler? "Oh well bucko better order a tube of paste out of your own pocket" says deepcool. Thanks guys Edit: goes to 4 stars from 3 as promised. Still disappointed about the thermal paste as even the thermalright peerless assassin comes with a tube, and its a dual tower cooler also with 2 fans for $35. But, i will say this single tower cooler absolutely can handle the 5800x3d even without an undervolt. Though, if you're using this processor as well i do recommend at least a minor undervolt like -10 or -15 with pbo2 tuner. Im running -20 and i get around 80.6c max running cinebench for 10 minutes. It does seem to saturate the heatsink quite quickly, though under normal gaming loads i don't think this is a problem. And its to be expected with a mere 4 heatpipe single tower cooler. All in all id say get it if you're looking for a good cooler that doesn't cover your ram slots, but remember that you only get one installation's worth of thermal paste with the pre-applied stuff. ... show more

  • Ak500 on 5900x
Style: AK500 ZERO DARK
The media could not be loaded. Im leaving this here to show the ak500 on a 5900x since i couldnt find anything with this combo so i hope this helps people considering this for a 5900x. So right off the bat this thing a chonker photo shows ak500 with 2 fans on it next to my ak400 zero dark plus. This replaced my 240mm aio since it was starting to go out and it already beats that aio to a pulp (cheap ibuypower) i replaced my front fans with 2 140mm fans for intake. Added a 2nd fk120 fan to the ak500 for a push pull combo, and the temps on this thing are amazing idle at start up after it settles is about 28°C and will only go as high as 33°C at idle. I stress test the cooler and cpu with cinebench R23 (shown in the video) xmp on with default settings with pbo overclocking enabled and limit off. All cores settled around 60°C during the test and pretty much sat there the entire time. Sidenote i also installed the cooler with thermal grizzly kryonaut thermal paste. My case fans are all set to a locked speed and only the cpu fans are set to auto even at full speed the case is still very quiet at 38is decibels. To say im impressed with the performance compared to the aio i had is an understatement even brand new i wouldnt see these kinds of temps from the aio. I really like the ak500 since it was smaller then the ak620 so i didnt have to worry about ram clearance. I also recommend getting a 2nd fan for it just for the extra cooling but it does bring the price up to around $70 but imo it was worth it for peace of mind and extra cooling for the 5900x. Update: After a few days of running this cooler and testing a few games even under full load all cores dont even go over 60°C. The highest temps ive seen is on the cpu package which hasnt gone higher then 67°C but all the cores settle under 60°C. ... show more

  • Great cooler for gaming! All info below! Read if new to building!
Style: AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS
This a great cooler! Before I was using the stock Wraith cooler that comes with some AMD CPU’s and it’s not good at all for gaming. PC would crash going above 95 degrees C playing simple games like Rust or Rocket League. I’m a newbie when it comes to installing anything into PC’s and this was a piece of cake… kinda. The installation is easy except for mounting the bracket. You have to line everything up perfectly without any of the screw mounts moving. But other than the bracket the rest of the installation is easy. Would recommend this for easy installation and it keeps my PC around 35 - 40 degrees C under little to no load. And if you are new to building and don’t have the confidence to put it in yourself, read the instructions and watch a YouTube video. Or get a friend or family member that knows stuff to guide you throwing the installation process. ... show more

  • You want bang for your buck? I believe this is the perfect cooler you can get
Style: AK400
I’ve never left a review before, but this cooler made me unbelievably happy and satisfied. My AMD stock cooler I had on before this was definitely not sufficient to say the least. Some games I would see my cpu get as high as 87, and always hovered around 76-77c. I returned a cooler previously because it didn’t work with my system, and was absolutely miserable to install. I’m not a pro with computers but I’m good at the basics of everything, this cooler took minutes to install, and even in the most intense games I’ve yet to see it get passed 65c. I’m genuinely impressed, and for only being $35? I would by this again with 0 questions asked ... show more

  • Looks amazing compared to other typical coolers
Style: AK620
This is my first deepcool product and Im pleased Installation was simple and easy and worked out the box as it should comes with everything you need I bought this to cool an i5 12600k and wanted headroom if I wanted to over clock later down the road and I know this will handle it with no problem. I don't believe in spending $100 or more for an air cooler Temps are stable, low, and quiet but I have notice a little drone on lower rpms around 400-500rpm thats why I left a 4 star I have mine around 600rpm at idle and I don't hear it only when systems booting up. ... show more

Definitely buy low profile ram it will clear it, no need to adjust the front fan position. It comes with both AMD and Intel socket brackets, nice thermal paste tube, and a long L shape screw driver and every nuts and bolts needed to install this thing. • Very Impressive
Style: AK620 ZERO DARK
I knew getting this Cooler I would not be disappointed. Was having issues with a 240 corsair aio so decided to go to Air cooling and was actually shocked. Gaming before I was at about 70c, now im barely breaking 50c which was not expecting that. Had a bit of trouble getting the final part of the cooler mounted on but wasn't super difficult to install. ... show more

  • Very easy to install
Style: AK620
A little hesitant about installing my own cooler, could not have been easier. It comes with clear instructions and it works great right out of the box. I would buy another Deepcool Product, if I would need one, it's a very well designed product that works great.
