This product is made from a high density polythene and the other is aluminum. #1 This product has a bigger footprint - and bigger is better to receive your jack. #2 Being polythene it is softer so the jack is less likely to slip off. #3 The aluminum block has a red rubber O ring to hold it in place. This product is an interference fit which is better as it won't wear out or get lost. It fits really nice and snuggly. #4 This product is thinner. Very important because my Model 3 on 19'" rims is so low and when it stands on a flat tire it is really low! With the expensive product I had a problem getting my jack under the lifting block - a big problem and the amount of clearance I required is about the amount by which this block is thinner than the aluminum block! Buy this product, it's better and much cheaper! A real no brainer. Not as pretty, but that isn't what it's all about. ... show more

Product feels solid, price is great. Just be aware of rubber odor 'cause stinks. I have to leave it outside my house a few days, TIP: Use double ziploc bag to store it on your car.

They are perfect when jacking up the Audi TT. They go right into the jacking point so no worry of cracking the underbody.

These worked great. The only thing that would make them better is if they had some sort of retention feature to keep them in place while raising the jack. It's kinda hard to line it up and raise the jack at the same time and that would solve the issue
