I actually use these curtains to divide rooms when I have the AC on. The material is thick and of good quality, but the feelings almost more like a tablecloth. They feel like they could be waterproof and actually be wiped down pretty easy. The backing is almost a vinyl, I could see these doing very well if you have an area that deals with a little bit of moisture or even in a bathroom. It's also insulated to keep the air conditioning in and the heat out in the summer, which has been really helpful during the humid East Coast summers.
