Have had these curtains for about a week. I had read other reviews before purchasing but I found that their claims differ from my experience. First, love the price. On sale, we picked these up for around $26 for two panels. We chose the chocolate brown. We also chose the 52 inch by 74 inch model. These curtains are lightweight. But because they are lightweight, the drop between the curtain rod and the bottom left and right corners is not vertical - the curtain bows out more and more as the bottom approaches. In my experience, hearvier curtains don't bow out. I do wonder if my curtain rods are too thin? These do come somewhat wrinkled. I tried ironing out the wrinkles but to no avail. I tried on a low setting and with no success, I tried a high heat setting with steam - I protected the curtain panel with a flour sack towel so as not to damage the fabric. Again, the wrinkles remained. I gave up. I do not try washing them as I can live with some wrinkles. For backout properties, these do reasonably well. The only time I can see any light coming through the curtain fabric is when the Sun is directly in the line of sight on a particular part of the curtain and then you can see pinpoints of light (I see this only when I am laying down on our living room couch). Not distracting at all and I do consider them to be blackout curtains. The sewing and hemming is okay. Since they are lightweight, they move across the curtain rods effortlessly. So who are these curtains really for? I would say that college students and renters who don't want to put a lot of money into curtains but do want the blackout benefits. Unfortunately, I own an expensive home and these just look too cheap however I am keeping them as in my circumstances, I cannot return them. They perform their function but simply don't look that good as I had hoped. For the right people who now understand their limitations, they are a best buy! If you a type of person who can't stand any kind of wrinkle in a curtain, maybe these aren't for you. I did my five living room windows for $125 and I like that. Hope this review helps. ... show more

These are surprisingly high quality curtains. I'm very happy with my purchase. I went with the light biege. They do an excellent job of blocking light for privacy at night while also allowing you to open them completely to allow the sunlight inside during the day. The light fabric material also helps to reflect more sunlight into the room instead of absorbing it. The material is soft and feels like a quality fabric that will last for many years. I will definitely be ordering more for the rest of my house. It helps keep it cool in here, the living room is now the coolest in the house(my cat also likes hiding behind them which is why its partially open in the first pic). Nice and dark too, perfect for movie watching during the day so there's no glare. It does let a little bit of light in through the bottom but that's ok I was mainly looking for the temperature change and darker than bright af. Make sure you measure as well, I have the wrap around heaters at the baseboards so the ones I got hang higher than the heaters and slightly below the sill so I can still keep them there during the winter. ... show more

Fabric is soft and luxurious. I got the silver gray and it darkens quite well. Not completely but plenty. I ironed them on the back side with a steam iron and all the wrinkles came out. They drape beautifully. Elegant. Will be buying more.

These are very impressive at darkening a room, if that's what you're looking for. I needed privacy and darkness and these curtains were the answer. when i received the drapes, it was heavier than i had expected. got to my apartment and opening them i realized i had gotten more than i had bargained for. the quality was better than they showed on line hence the extra weight. but when i was hanging them they were easy to handle. i will be getting another set later ... show more
