Wanted a shelf that would hold books and be mobile. This was a great investment. It's so easy to use because it is already assembled. Just unfold the components into place and the shelf is ready to use. (Add the wheels to the bottom before unfolding if you want the shelf to be mobile.) The shelf works great and every shelf is loaded down with books. Makes sweeping and mopping so much easier and enables the "library" to be taken into different rooms if needed. We needed display area that could be put away and not take up much space. This fit the bill. Easy to unfold and lock in place. Rolls nicely. When we are done we can fold it way until we need it again.

    • VERY USEFUL
1. This shelf unit is very useful, particularly as it is -- as advertised -- fully assembled but for the wheels (which I have not used). 2. The steps needed to open the unit, affix 'connections' at 2 points, and lower the top shelf in-place are as presented on the Amazon product page. 3. I have multiples of this product and have noted varying degrees of care in product/manufacturer production assembly; one unit, in particular, was challenging and required disproportionate effort of 2 people to ensure a small hook was in place. 4. The shelves are useful, which accounts for my multiple purchases. I have placed some shelving units side-by-side, as well as others stand-alone. 5. It is helpful to note the composition of the units and the 'open' backs and open spaces on metal shelves/components. 6. Given the unit specifications, I have chosen not to use the wheels and to opt for higher weight limit for use (and presumed stability). 7. These units are utilitarian and, depending on nature of use, may facilitate attractively displaying objects. 8. Having purchased shelving units individually over months, I note that pricing has been variable, over a range of about $20. (increasing and decreasing and increasing, again) per unit. ... show more

I really wanted the Origami brand but it wasnʻt in stock so I took a chance on this item. I am very pleased that it is as good as I expected the Origami brand to be. The bookcase is fine except it was suppose to have wheels. I am in the process of trying to get the wheels that were missing. It may be difficult but all I can do is try. If I don't have any luck I will be sending it back.

    • These shelves were exactly what I needed
The extra cost to get such easily assembling shelves was worth it. They aren't beautiful but I didn't expect them to be. This smaller size fits just right in the small alcoves in the walls. The diagonal thin metal additions on the sides not only help hold items in place, but I also bought hooks to hang on them to hold purses and other items. The wheels roll well and never get stuck, but I haven't tried locking them in place yet. After I tried the first one, I decided to get two more. I'm quite happy with them. ... show more
