The media could not be loaded. Thanks to prime I got this tool in a couple of days. I've only used it 3 times but it works amazing and its very powerful. I've cut 2 inch exhuast pipe without a problem. Multi purpose for cutting, sanding, and polishing. The blades it came with were high quality.

This is my only corded angle grinder. Compared to my name-brand cordless grinder, it is significantly lighter and at least as strong. It comes with flapper and cutoff wheels, which is nice even if they're not the highest quality. It may not stand up to heavy, constant use, but for what I need it is great. ... show more

    • A little underpowered and heavy, but still a good value
Style: Angle Grinder（KSM09-115S）
For a slightly under-powered grinder (6amps vs 11 or so) I was hoping this grinder would be a little lighter. For those that do a lot of prep work on metal to get it ready for welding, it's nice to have a lighter weight grinder that you can use with one hand to knock off and clean up edges, especially if they are coming from the plasma cutter. Because this grinder is a little on the heavy side, it really should be used with 2 hands and therefore with 2 hands, I generally want to really lay on the tool to move a lot of metal fast, but because it's only 6amp, it's not hard to bog this one down. Having said this, it is quite a bit less expensive than the other grinders I'm talking about, so IMO it's still a really good value. Comes with a couple of flap disks which were okay, and also comes with a couple cutoff disks, which were not great, but okay if you're just starting out with cutoff wheels. The guards are nothing special and require screwdriver to adjust which is dumb. Also comes with an arbor wrench, which you should throw in the trash since all disks/flaps/wheels or whatever should only go on hand tight and therefore can be removed easily without any tools. ... show more

At 9.2 amp, up to 11800rpm's, the tool has the power. Tested on cutting 3/16 steel bracket, and ground off a couple old welds on the piece.. the tool performed very well cutting and grinding. Tool feels a little big at 4.6 lbs, and the body/casing feels a little large, but it just takes some getting used to. Side handle fits left or right and is swept forward slightly.. no top mount on this tool. The cons... the 2 provided guards are a little iffy... they work, but I'd prefer a more secure attachment. Side handles have no vibration dampening. The users manual says the brushes need to be replaced regularly and a spare set is included in the package... makes me wonder if these wear through quickly. The on/off switch is a little sticky when operating w/gloves, hopefully that goes away with use. Lastly, the plug is not grounded, so let's assume that the casing and tool qualifies as double insulated- I couldn't find anything on this tools certification. In all, this will be a very good "occasional" tool. I grinder/cutter isn't something I use every day, but this will certainly come in very handy. ... show more

    • An ok grinder for now

This is your basic no, frills grinder. As a hobbyist, I actually use the guard, so I prefer one that is tool-less to adjust. This guard is just a friction clamp though so I either crank it down to make sure it never moves and I have to get a tool to change it. Or I leave it a little loose and cross my fingers it doesn't try to move on me. The on-off switch on the side is a pain to use with gloves on but doable. I am constantly switching out cutting disks for flap wheels, so I generally don't bother with the wrench for the spindle nut and just tight or loosen the disk with my large hands. On my other grinders that's fine, but this one didn't get as tight as I would like it too. Other than the nit-picks above, the grinder has been fine. The included cutting disk and flap wheels are actually kind of nice but I am concerned about long term durability. Part of me is happy they included a spare set of brushes for the motor, but part of me thinks that's a bad sign... ... show more
