Fits correctly and appears to work fine. Looks the same as OEM alternator. One of the connectors was a tight squeeze and needed a light bit of percussive encouragement, but it locked in fine. If you have enough slack to connect your wires before fully installing it, I would suggest doing that.

Original alternator died recently. This was a flawless and easy replacement for a 2001 Hyundai Accent. It was easiest to unmount the power steering pump (leaving hoses connected and set it aside to make for easy access from the top. You will also want to jack the car up and remove the oil filter for access from the bottom. The bottom bolt may have issues sliding all the way out as it hits the wheel well area; just give it some muscle. The plastic in the way will flex out of the way enough without causing any damage to get the bolt out. ... show more
