I purchased this part on April 2nd, it worked for 6 months then sounded like it was coming apart inside. Like many others on here, the 1 year warranty is a joke, Amazon will not honor it and there's no way to get who of the manufacturer. Save the trouble of replacing it twice, just go to a local auto parts store and pay the extra money and get something with a real warranty. $289.00 at O'Reilly's with a lifetime warranty. Fits like a glove. My car kept making a whining noice that got faster and louder when accelerating. I took it to the shop to get it diagnosed and they told me it was my alternator. It seemed odd since it was charging and doing it's job. They told me it just needs a new pulley. Buying this new alternator and installing it myself was a lot cheaper than them replacing the pulley. The diagnosis was right tho. This new alternator took the whining right out. I recommended this brand to my friend and he went for it too.
