    • Wrong alternator …. But ….
The alternator I received was NOT the one that ‘matches’ the original alternator even though I gave my license # and they said it would fit. I believe many have had the same issue. The new pulley is larger than the original pulley meaning the original sized serpentine belt is too small. The original belt is 40.9” which no longer fit. The replacement that I got that worked was 42 3/8 “. I got it from Napa Power Series Micro V 060418 6pk 1062. They had it in stock ~ 30$. It was easier for me to replace the belt than return the alternator and start over. Hope this helps others with the same problem. ... show more

Works great! What i didnt like! (This has nothing to do with alternator!!!!) (Didn't like not having a pullie bar. WITH OUT IT made it EXTREMELY hard to change!!!!!

I ordered for a 2000 lexus rx300. Observed the pulley was noticeably bigger than my old alternator but decided to proceed. It made the install of the belt very difficult. I had to remove the pivot bolt to get the belt over the pulley and reinstall. Keeping my old pulley in case I ever have to remove or replace the belt again in the future. ... show more

The alternator test at Oreilly and Autozone was showing it was not charging, bad alternator. that's why i bought this alternator from Amazon. the price at Oreilly or Autozone was $ 100 higher. Anyway, when i took out the original Lexus alternator i took it for test, it passed. later I found it was pigtail connector had a lot of build up. I did not want to return the alternator.
