    • Bought it April 4th. Made it June 1st.
Got one full month of use out of it. Noticed my battery light came on and it was only reading 9 volts. I expected better quality from an American company. Gray, TN is only 25 minutes from me. I should just unbolt this junk and take it back to them. American "assembled" with Chinese parts is how these should be labeled. Cheap for a reason. If you like swapping alternators out every month, here's a bargain for you. ... show more

    • Not the great.. but good in the pinch I was in.
I was barely able to get the belt back on .. only had 1/2 inch of play on the tensioner. Once on and started .. the alternator was very loud but has dissipated some in time. I am getting my original stock rebuilt as soon as I can for about the same price as this one I bought from DB.

    • Part seemed good but didn't fit, DB customer service failed
So, I got the alternator for my '02 Mustang GT. Says it fits, the Amazon compatibility checkers says it fits, the part number says it fits; but when I went to install it...didn't fit. To be clear, they actual mounting points all fit perfect. But the sensor connector was incorrect for my car...the actual plug part. So I reached out to customer service hoping to get a replacement, or even an adapter...I'm not picky. I'm in PDT and they are in EST (EDT, I don't know). And I called what should have been within operating hours, but got voicemail. So I left a voicemail. 2 days alter and no response, that's fine...I called well within business hours. I talked to customer service. Customer service transferred me. The transferred line picked up and (paraphrased) "We are closed" click. So, I called back, talked to customer service again. "I think I got disconnected". "Oh, sorry, let me transfer you again." This time, just click. So I called a 3rd time, talked to the same customer service. "Let me transfer you to someone else." Transfer..."You've reached Dave (?). Please leave a message." "Hi, I'm Chris and I bought" click. So I filed grievance through Amazon, who took care of me. I don't know how well the product actually works...would have liked to find out. Would have liked to support a smaller, made in the USA company. But their customer service killed it for me. Your mileage may vary, but this was my experience. 1* because of customer service. 3* for the rest because it looked like a great deal! ... show more

Fast shipping! It says it's a new motorcraft unit but it's actually a rebuilt one. I dont mind that one bit tho since AutoZone wanted 220 for a rebuilt one. Now my lincoln Mark Viii is back on the road. Thank you!

Part worked okay for 5 months. I put 2200 miles on this part before it failed!! Seller says they stand behind their product, but I purchased thru Prime which means they don't handle the warranty, Amazon does. Wish they had mentioned that sooner.. So now after 7 days of no vehicle I have to start all over with Amazon. Should've bought from different seller. ... show more
