Overall, we loved these lights and it's plenty large enough for a 7-8ft tree in case you're concerned about size. We were REALLY disappointed to see we didn't luck out on picking the right one and ordering whichever set that comes with the beautiful star tree topper. Fix those options and I'll give the full 5 stars. Plus: Don't cause people disappointment when it comes to their own Christmas star, anything else wouldn't be as bad or sad but the Christmas star during the holidays is super important and also special. This was a great addition to our 25 year old artificial Christmas tree, It has added a nice touch and the light options are pretty decent. The package indicates it will work outside, but looking at the warnings concerning the power supply, I would not recommend using it outdoors. Inside it is perfectly fine. You have to do a bit of hiding the remote sensor in the tree branches, but after decorating the tree you can tell where it it. Good addition to the tree this year. ... show more

The set was incomplete due to multifunction box missing, so the remote control can't work hence the multifunction feature as well. I'm planning to return it to see if they'll send me a complete set because I really liked it.

I have a prelit LED tree that barely had enough lights. I used this star and light combo to make it look like a much more expensive tree. The lights color matches well and the ring at the top is much smaller than I thought it was so it's easy to hide. The strings reach the bottom branches of my 7 foot tree easily. The only negatives were a couple small chips in the paint on the star and the motion settings on the lights being too hectic for my taste. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was perfect to use on our Xmas tree! Easiest set up and take down for lights on the tree! So simple and easy. The remote worked well with many lighting options. Ok..OK... so these lights are a TOTAL game changer for every single OCD Christmas tree decorator! No more round and round the Christmas tree we go just to wind up with uneven or unlit spots of your tree. Easy to set up compared to the old style. I will never go back to the tangled mess of string lights. Nice and bright but can be dimmed if desired. Lots of blinking modes to choose from for speed or can do solid on. These covered our 7.5 ft tree very well.
