I used this for a paludarium to create a small waterfall. It works great and is actually really strong for it's small size. I have it on the second lowest setting for a slower flow but when I first used it it was on the highest setting and nearly shot water out of the paludarium. It has a good amount of settings for you to adjust it for your specific needs and overall is great for the price. It's small size also helps if it's a particularly small build or you want to easily be able to hide it. I have mine hidden under a couple rocks. I also can't notice any noise from it. ... show more

Bought this for my son’s Step2 water table and it works as intended. It’s not too loud either. We had a 25w one previously and it was too loud. There is plenty of water flow as well for the “water fall” feature.

We are using these as lubrication pumps for our lathe, drill press, and band saw. We have had to work on them a few times to keep them up and running, but after two months, they seem to be working well. We were unsure as to how these would perform, but the pump rate was in the area where we needed it to be. Time will tell if they are of high enough quality to perform in our application, but they were cheap enough to where we could experiment without spending a fortune. We use screens and filters to keep the metal shavings out of the return hose, and maybe this will extend their useful life. ... show more

I bought this for my bird bath and if is perfect! I cut a little 1" length of tubing for the water to spout out of and it did the trick! The suction cups aren't good, though.

I was replacing a cat fountain bubbler. This is still too powerful. On the weakest setting it was not strong enough. It’s louder than my old one too. It works but I’m not crazy about it.

I use this pump to transfer fresh water from a bucket back into my fish tanks. It worked 3 times, but then failed to work again. It is also too weak to push the water up the hose from ground level and I needed to place the bucket on a stool to decrease the effect of gravity against which the pump had to work, but this is more related to my application and not a defect. I just need a stronger pump. I would keep using this one if it didn't fail though. ... show more
