  • Works great!
Size: 1 Bowl
I bought this because I wanted to control what goes into my ice cream. I did a bit of improv on it, and produced a very gorgeous frozen yoghurt on the first try. It's easy to clean, the yoghurt froze really well and is easy to use. I wish the receptacle you pour the mixture in was a little bigger but you can't have everything. What you can have is delicious frozen desserts! ... show more

  • Homemade Ice Cream in Minutes!

The DASH My Mug Ice Cream Maker Machine is a fun and easy way to indulge my sweet tooth. It's incredibly simple to use – just add your favorite ingredients to the mug, pop it in the freezer, and enjoy delicious homemade ice cream in minutes. I've experimented with different flavors, from classic chocolate to fruity sorbets, and they all turn out perfectly. This little machine is a fantastic addition to my kitchen and brings a touch of joy to every dessert occasion. ... show more

  • Stick with it!
Size: 2 Bowls
Before spending several hundred dollars on the ninja creamy, I wanted to give this little guy a try. Using clean, delicious ingredients, it does make amazing ice cream, better than store-bought. That said, you must without fail wait for the bowls to be fully frozen, if you give them a shake and you hear any sloshing, they’re not ready. You will still only get soft serve if you use them too soon. If you wait until hard freeze and then make it with cold ingredients then freeze it again, it becomes ice cream. Sooo worth the wait. If there’s more than two of you in the household, you will definitely need extra bowls and they’re not small so I hope you have a big freezer. ... show more

  • Yummy!
Size: 2 Bowls
I’ve been trying to focus on a higher protien diet and been messing with protein smoothies and tweaked a recipe I found, thought it was soo good I turned it into ice cream on my first use of this little machine. So good and nice way to eat the smoothie vs drinking it, makes it feel more like dessert than just a smoothie ... show more

  • surprisingly effective
Size: 2 Bowls
I was able to make vegan ice cream without any issue and the end result was perfect honestly. Whenever I buy storebought I typically leave in the fridge to soften it up so this consistency is literally perfect for me. I did churn it a LITTLE too much and it got a little too frozen, I'll chalk that up to recipe difference since I based mine on their simple vanilla ice cream recipe. I used 1/3 cup plant based heavy cream, 1/3 cup extra creamy oat milk (unsweetened would be healthier and probably wouldn't change much honestly, going to try that today), 1.5 tsp of Bob's Red Mill egg replacer with 1 tbsp of water, I stacked 2 tbsp of splenda, 2 tbsp of stevia, and 2 tbsp of monk fruit sweetener instead of sugar, and then I used 1/8 tsp of three different white chocolate flavorings (The Flavor Apprentice, Flavorah, and Flavor West). I couldn't have asked for a more delicious white chocolate ice cream, not sure why you don't see this flavor much because I absolutely love it. The texture with this one is better than store bought honestly, super happy with this and will probably buy more since I have so many flavorings to experiment with now. ... show more

  • Not an impulse snack. Requires planning ahead.
Size: 2 Bowls
This product should come with two churners and two mugs. As is, you can only churn one mug at a time, so it takes twice as long to prepare the ice cream. You must plan ahead. This is not a snack that you just decide to do on impulse & a few minutes later you're eating ice cream. The basic vanilla recipe that comes with it requires boiling milk and adding it to a mix of sugar and eggs & then refrigerating it for two hours ahead of time. Then after you've chilled the mixture for two to four hours, you churn it for 20 minutes & then refrigerate it again for another two hours. (Keep in mind that the mugs have to be frozen for 24 hours before use and by the way, they hold only 1 cup of ice cream each.) The churner was not as loud as i was expecting. I don't think it was even a loud as a handheld mixer. The flavor of the ice cream was quite good. We froze ours for about 24 hours before we actually ate it. The texture was more firm than soft serve, but not as firm as regular frozen ice cream. We will use it again, but I'm thinking that an old fashioned style ice cream churn just makes more sense in the long run. I think it would probably make more servings in less time. None of the parts are dishwasher safe, which was disappointing. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Size: 1 Bowl
Let me just tell you, I love this little machine. I have used it three times and it works great. I have only made vanilla ice cream in it, but I have added extra's to it. I love the soft serve it makes, it's perfect. It is only one serving and it takes about 20 min to make, it's not to loud, but it does have a little noise. It's very easy to use and easy to clean. I am sure if you want more of a hard ice cream you can put it in the freezer for a little bit. Other than that, I love it. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Size: 2 Bowls
Easy to use, but plan ahead. You need to freeze the mugs and chill your base ahead of time. The base recipe that is included is fine but it is one serving only. We tried different base recipes until we found one we liked and can usually get 3 or more servings from it. Decent product, fun for teens.
