I got this about 2 weeks ago and today was the first time I tried it....worked like a charm, I followed the instructions verbatim since it was my first time with this brand waffle maker....inside of waffle was soft but the outside wasn't as crispy as I usually like so I'll just add another minute or two next time....very easy to use and clean up...Also love you can fold and store in a smaller space...buy this and you won't regret it ... show more

I love that the plates can stand vertically to allow it to take up less counter space. It heats quickly and cooks the waffles evenly in about 1 minute 45 seconds. It heats rather quickly and with the lights it's easy to know when it's ready to add the mix and then when it's finished. Note: I found that adding a 1/4 cup of cornmeal to my batter makes the waffles crisper.

The waffles come out very nice , quick, very thick , fluffy. , nice drip pan , easy to use , store and clean. I rate 3 stars because the light to tell you when to flip becomes a guessing game at times and it's not very sturdy.
