The size chart is unreadable- if there even WAS one. I went on a bit of a shimmer-tights buying spree and I distinctly remember one size chart reading “one size” when that was absolutely NOT TRUE! Another problem is that I’m one of those weirdos who doesn’t own a scale so I have only the vaguest idea how much I weigh- only that I’m usually at the extreme end of the size chart for anything dance-related but too small for even the smallest plus size. So, as has been my habit, I ordered the largest size. As it happens HEIGHT was actually the more relevant metric here. I’m 5’6 with rather long legs in comparison to my torso. These are insanely long in the legs. I can pull the trunk of the tights up to my boobs and still the legs bag horribly. There’s easily 6-8” of extra length. This size D would accommodate a six foot tall man of slim to average build so Drag Queens take note! I probably should have ordered the size C and may have been able to get away with a B but seriously- how was I to know with no easily viewable size chart?! One note- if you’ve got jiggly bits you may do better to size down. You lose a bit of opacity but you gain some control; being grossly oversized these offer no smoothing effect but I’m confident that they would had I been able to ascertain the correct size. Also, the “classic light toast” color is a bit dark for my complexion. I really only ever wear these under leggings or sweats for an extra layer of warmth when I go outside. Of all the shimmer-tights I’ve bought these are probably the best quality so I will PROBABLY order these again- just in the right size. Of course, I’ll need to look up Danskin’s size chart to figure out what that is for sure but I’ll be sure to pay more attention to the height than the weight. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I never and I mean never write reviews!! I had to with this order! I’ve been looking for good tights that’s my skin tone with a lovely shimmer! Like the ones Beyoncé wears and other women singers! I have found them in these! They came on so good and smooth! I thought they were going to be hard to put on and they were going to be stiff! No!! I have tons of stretch marks on my legs and a big skin graft on my thigh from a horrible car accident I was in, in 2001! I was in a coma for 6 months and I’ve had over 60 surgeries and more to come! I never showed my legs but boy am I now!! I’m 5’7 and 165lbs. I ordered the size D because my belly is big from all the surgeries. I though that would be a problem but it wasn’t. I just ordered more but in the color black and light toast! I wanted them a lil big so my stretch marks wouldn’t show and the size D was the perfect size!! Omg I can’t thank you guys enough!! I know I could’ve worn a size C but I didn’t want to stretch the tights and show my stretch marks. I actually ordered a size D in the black and a size C in black as well. I know they will both fit just fine! If you’re thinking about buying these, PLEASE DO!! I just ordered 4 more pairs just in case they run out lol! My skin tone is light but I also have a natural tan like I’m from the Caribbean islands but I’m not. I’m just mixed with white, black and Bengali.     • Recent rips and tears
Size: C Color: Light Toast
To Whom it may concern: There are rips and tests all over this garment. In the middle, there was a huge run and the crotch area looks like it’s been poked or something. The toes also had a puncture in them a few days ago and the leg on the back on the foot had a huge run all on new pairs. I have never had any problem with this product. I remember when the seams were not flat and reinforced there were holes all over the place near the” back door area” and all over the the crotch. I have not had one problem after they reinforced everthing.. now I’m having a problem. Hmmm??? When the shipped it to me I also ordered 4 of them and one of the boxes was empty. The other issue is that it looks like someone had worn them and returned them because it was not in its original package…looks like someone else had them on. ... show more

Over the years have purchased many pairs of Danskin shimmery tights Size B. I compared the size B tights I just received (made in China) to the ones I own (made is USA). HUGE difference in size! 1st photo pair on right is my old pair and 2nd/3rd photo I put my old tights on top of new one. I didnt even bother to try them on - just returned them. ... show more
