This will be a bit of a lengthy, detailed review. Summary though, it is an excellent package! I have a couple of SUPs but this iTAOSTAR SUP is the first where I can put a seat on it and kayak, which is a fun diversion to standing up all the time. It comes with basically everything you need to both SUP & kayak. Seat, paddles, footrest etc. This is a bigger SUP than my others. At 11'6" long and 35" wide, it is more stable than most. It comes with a dual action hand pump with a gauge on top. It did take me a long time to pump it up. I had to take breaks. But surprisingly, at only 4 lbs of pressure, it was really quite stiff. Enough to stand on. Going to the recommended 12 lbs would take way longer. I'm going to get an electric SUP compressor to do all the work. Much simpler. When deflated there was a smells of plastic chemical. I hope it goes away over time. The board has a convenient grab handle in center. One at back. A D ring up front under the bow. There is a textured foam grip surface. It comes with 5 fins for 3 locations. 2 same smaller ones flanking the center one, and choice of 3 varying sizes for that main center fin. To convert to a kayak, you attach the provided seat to D rings on the board. The instructions differ in that the design has changed but the instructions were not updated. Still easy to figure out though. The manual is actually quite good despite a few things being out of date. The seatback is not inflated but provides a nice firm supportive back. An improvement would be snap on straps for the seat instead of having to thread them each time. There is a zippered pouch on the back of seat rest - quite convenient. To complete the seat setup, there is a footrest which looks a bit slapped together compared with the rest of the good quality design and materials. Its position is made for a shorter person and not adjustable. For the paddle, you swap out the SUP handle for another kayak blade. Odd thing here is that the diameter of the two are slightly different, so you need to adjust the screw clamp every swap - a bit annoying. I'm sure it was not intended to be that way. Kayak paddles have the same orientation. To make 90°, you must push in the pin and clamp down. A bit unusual is a cup & phone holder which is usefulwhen sitting. It is a bit fragile in my opinion. Could snap if hit. Be careful. There is a little kit container for repairs, but only 2 rubber patches are included, no adhesive. There is a really nice neoprene padded ankle strap that has 360° swivels at both ends to avoid tangles. There are 2 velcro loops on 1 side of the board. Likely to hold the paddle when not in use. The whole kit packs up into a large, reasonably heavy duty backpack style bag. It is heavy all put together. Goid for a short distance, but not l9ng at all. The bag itself is well constructed with a big easy to grab zipper. There is an internal strap as well as 2 outer straps to cinch things tight. Although I could ding it a star for a few items mentioned above, and it is on the higher expense side, I think there are too many pluses, and I like the quality. So I give it 5 stars.     • A good hybrid SUP for the price
There is very little I can complain about for this SUP. Inflation is pretty standard, though the pump isn’t my favorite. Nothing an electric pump can’t handle. I haven’t turned it into a kayak yet but the seat looks nice. I’m not sure I’m going to love the foot rest, but again, for the price it’s fine. The SUP came with a ton of extras that I didn’t know were part of the package. The only thing that didn’t come was the patching kit that was supposed to be in there, but I’m not really worried about that because I’ll just get one separately. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. Where do I even start? I've come across many inflatable SUP's and this is by far one of the better ones I've come across. First you open the box and you're presented with this nicely designed carry bag which everything is already packed into. Open it up and all the items are in their own white fabric pouches. Most of these you'll probably throw away and never use but it's a nice presentation and packaging. This comes with all kinds of goodies: a SUP/Kayak paddle that looks to be well thought out and has some nice curves on the paddle end, a cup holder made of thick plastic, a dry bag (which most don't include), multiple center fin choices, and much more. Almost all of the bits and pieces are in the same cream/sand color which gives the impression that presentation was in mind. The fins feel thicker than others I've handled or maybe it's just a harder material. This also doubles as a kayak. And the eat is made of the same material as the SUP. Sometimes these dual sup/kayaks come with a sub par seat w/ one of those valves you blow up with your mouth. This one had a real proper valve. Speaking of valves. The valve on the SUP is better than most. Most of these valves you press in the valve button to release the air and push in again to pop the valve out and seal it before placing the cover on. With this valve, you have to push and twist to do those two things. Why does this matter? Well I have a few pumps with valve adapters that push in the button too far so when you take the pump nozzle off, the valve is open. This isn't supposed to happen with a properly sized adapter but with this valve, even the crappy adapters can't engage the valve release. I don't know where iTAOSTAR came from, I only noticed them a few years back, but they're not just one of those fly by night Chinese brands. I mean, this stuff was made in China, but you won't know it, if it wasn't printed here and there on the packaging ... show more

This is a great Paddleboard for your money. It has great capacity and very stable. The added seat makes for kayak like riding. There are plenty of straps for carrying and attachments. It is truly an all-in-one unit that gets you out and riding in the water. No leaks or issues.

This is a great set up if you are looking to get your feet wet in paddle boarding or kayaking or both. Came well packaged and set up was fairly easy. Inflating takes a few minutes but I didn’t have a problem with it. Just got back from the river and it was stable and fun using the kayak seat. I should mention that I’ve never been on a board or kayak before but I felt comfortable and didn’t fall off. It tracked very well for me, but also there was no wind to speak of. I think it’s a great board. Haven’t had long to judge durability but it’s a good price for the whole package included. It’s a good place to start as a beginner so you don’t break the bank to see if you like this water sport. So pick one up and have some fun. ... show more
