I have Asian straight hair, about 5 inches long on top, cut short on the sides. I usually have my hair in a Pompadour/Combover style and this product holds it down extremely well! Just put a dime or nickle sized amount into your hands and rub them up until fully spread out onto your hands. Spread evenly throughout your hair in an upward motion to get the style you want. Only down side to this product is the shine and the texture of the product in your hair. Makes your hair feel very "sticky" so you don't want to touch it that much to make sure your hairstyle holds throughout the day. Would recommend "hanz de fuko claymation" if you're looking for a strong hold with matte finish like me. ... show more

Over the past five years or so, I've been on the hunt for the best product out there that will not only hold my hair, but continue to do so. Having tried just about every store brand you can think of, I ran across at a salon and was told that it's what the stylist's son used. D:fi is like the Holy Grail. It's very sticky and stringy, holding my hair all day and even in light rains, etc. I searched my city for another container of it before ordering multiple off of Amazon. My hair is short and I style it sort of messily back and up/over. You really can't run a comb or brush through once it's in your hair, but it leaves a matte finish and allows you to style however you want to. I recommend this to anyone looking for that short hair, contemporary style. Give it a try, seriously. Will buy exclusively for as long as I keep this style. ... show more

This is the BEST styling cream on the market. I have gone through many different brands of gels and creams trying to find the right one for my hair, and this is the one. Most other gels and creams get "eaten up" by my hair, which means they don't do much for me, and just end up making my hair look worse. A couple of years ago I started using this product, and I have not looked back since. It works very well for shaping your hair in any way that you would like, without making it look glossed over or like you have gel in your hair. It does not clump up, and washes out easily.
