I read the reviews and bought this. It arrived next day. I opened it and fluffed it with my blow dryer. You have to place the underside up to get maximum comfort...THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO TURN IT INSIDE OUT AND PUT THE STRIPED SIDE DOWN. My mom was afraid to sleep in a bed for many years now due to her complaints of every mattress being hard and giving her back pain. WELL..let me tell you that I placed this on the memory foam mattress and put her to bed and she slept throughout the night, slept throughout the morning, woke up for breakfast and went back to bed. it is now 12:38pm New York time and she is still sleeping. 4 Stars - 1: I don't want to trash a product that is decent even though my back is still sore when I wake up. 2: It does offer a little extra cushion, but it is far from something that is going to change your comfort level while sleeping. 3: This is not a bad product at all, but if you're looking for a lot of extra cushion, look at a memory foam topper. Bought this for my daughter's bed at college. It is packaged great, comes tightly rolled in a vacuum pack. Once opened, it fluffs up fairly quickly. I will admit that it is not nearly as "fluffly" as the stock photos look. It does have some loft, but it's not super fluffly or super soft. It will give a little cushion and that is it. Also, maybe it is from the packaging, but the inner fluff within each quilted square is not always evenly distributed. We had to do a LOT of shaking & re-distributing within each square in order to have the fluff more even. All that said - it is a reasonable topper for the price. It is fluffier than a standard mattress pad, but if you are looking for a LOT of loft/fluff/softness - this may not be for you. ... show more

We had got one of those Microfiber foam mattresses for like $300 and after 2 month it started to get flat, mis-shaped and uncomfortable. We got this for our new mattress and it’s perfect. It feels like a cloud and we’re hoping it lengthens the lifespan of our mattress. Not sure if it’s easy to clean but makes our mattress softer and more luxurious.
