A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series BRG1000AVRLCD provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. The BRG1000AVRLCD uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently. Two USB charge ports (2.1 Amp shared) rapidly power portable devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and cameras. • Not bad, but warranty is better
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
Bought two of these (about a couple years apart) to support the low voltage infrastructure in my house (e.g. networking, FiOS, etc.). Specifically bought two to split the load so that in an outage I get a few hours runtime (to hopefully get me through the outage). With this, the screens showed runtime of 3+ hours each. During an actual outage, I got maybe half on one and less on the other. One of them could be turned on again for a few minutes, but pretty disappointing overall. Positive - they honored the 5 year warranty on this, provided a UPS label (key considering they weigh about 25 lbs. each), and the new replacements also carried a new 5 year warranty. Each replacement took about 3 weeks round trip. So, jury's out on the replacements but glad the warranty was honored without much hassle. ... show more

  • 5 year warranty, built in USB ports (compared to 3 years and no USB with the PC1500AVRLCD)
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
like the headline says... if you're wondering what the difference between this model and the CP1500AVRLCD, this model comes with a 5 year warranty and USB charging ports on the front. there are also a couple extra buttons for navigating the display. the CP comes with only a 3 year warranty and no built in USB charging ports. they use the same batteries though, and the back panel is 100% identical. this is a good UPS, rated at 900w max drain (wont last more than a minute or so at that drain.. but enough for the software to shut down your pc). this is not a true sine wave UPS. its simulated sine wave. most DC electronics won't have an issue with it. some older PC power supplies, as well as delicate equipment aren't recommended for use with it. some electrical equipment will just operate a little funky. for example, you can tell the difference when plugging an AC fan (most floor/pedestal/box/wall fans) into it. you'll hear the fan speed up a little, slow down a little, speed up a little, slow down a little. back and forth, changing about every second or so. this is a good choice for most single graphics card desktop pc's, and you can also plug your router and modem into it, so your wifi hopefully doesn't go down in an outage. depending how wide spread it is, you may still have internet. overall, i do recommend. ... show more

  • Works well, decent software for control from comptuter
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
I have about half a dozen different CyberPower UPSs in my house. Over several years they replaced a collection of very old APC unit. I'm happy with all of these. The one on this review is used for my main computer but there are ones of different sizes and styles on other computers, network equipment, and my Verizon FiOS controller. Even with a full power outage in the house I have working computers and outside communications for at least ten minutes so I can shut down gracefully. CyberPower software works well with WIndows. It allows you to see how the UPS is functioning, conduct tests, and set shutdown conditions. Not much more is needed. I did have one unit (not this one) come in DOA. A call to CyberPower and they had a replacement on its way within a couple of days. No hassle at all. ... show more

  • 1.5 years, no problems
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
Product page (at least at the time of purchasing) did not state whether or not it came with a USB A to B cable, but it did come in the package. (Cable is used for plugging into PC so it recognizes wall power is lost and it's running on battery power and, through power management settings, can shut itself down after a period of time being on battery power). Because it didn't state, I ended up buying another cable, but it got used to replace the cable for my sister's printer, so it wasn't a full waste. Have had this for a year and a half now with no problems. Have had a couple of actual power outages and I've shut down my computer manually for them, nothing urgent that had to be done on battery, but worked just fine for that. Have had more than that happen, though, where my house power dropped for a couple of seconds and prevented the computer from suddenly losing power and saved it from shutting off unexpectedly. ... show more

  • Words well and the price is acceptable
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
I have had a UPS for years - and when my old one finally died I needed to replace it. It is not yet clear to me whether I can configure this one to tolerate dirty power so that I can use it with my generator like my previous UPS but that's only going to matter if I have to work from home during hurricanes with aggressive deadlines on my code. So far this one has protected my SSD from 3 or 4 power outages (yank power from your SSD and it can become damaged) so it is good. This one costs less than the previous brand that I owned so it has also saved me money. ... show more

  • Recomendado 💯
Size: 1500VA Style: UPS
Recomendado 💯 ... show more
