    • Sturdy, light weight, and easy to install
After not so good experiences with the last 2 racks I bought, I settled on this rack based on the reviews and the fact that it doesn't need to attach to the bikes seat post or the frame via brackets. Other racks I have used that have too many adjustment pieces end up not very sturdy, this one has the 2 twisted plates on the top that give it great support, you have to bend it a little to get it just right. As other have stated, the attachment screws at the bottom are slightly long, but didn't hit my chain, but it was close. That was my primary concern when first purchasing the rack. This could be easily remedied by adding a washer on the outside, using a self supplied shorter screw, or file in down. Works great. Easy install, comes with the bolts and washers in case your bike doesnt already have pre existing bolts on the mounting areas. Came with a bungee cord to strap on stuff, i have a insulated back i attach to it and carry all my stuff to work (clothes, shoes and food) on days i decide to take the bike. If you get the fancier draped-over type saddle bags it has the side bars/cages to attach them and keep them off the tires. 👍🏽 Pretty light too, barely feel it when just the bracket. ... show more

I got this rack above (CXWXC Rear Bike Rack - Bike Cargo Rack for Disc Brake/Non-Disc Brake Mount - Bicycle Pannier Rack, Touring Carrier Rack fit 26”-29” and 700c) and I used it for my ladies bike (Schwinn Women's Gateway 700c/28" Hybrid Bike - Cream) and I installed this in half a day because I’m not that frequently doing handy man stuff. I actually really liked this rack. Very sturdy, but kind of a pain to attach. However, once I got it all assembled and on, I realized with my style of rear brakes it wouldn’t work. The braces that attach to the frame towards the seat, were pushing on the brakes and making the pads push onto the wheel. In the photo you can see where the screws are, where the brackets attach to the frame. Hopefully this will keep someone else from having to go through the install for no reason! The t adapter wouldn’t make it work any different, so I had to return it. I also found looking at the photos on the description to be more helpful with the installation than the written instructions that came with it, fyi. ... show more

    • Solid, good looking rack
It took some elbow grease and I had to do the steps out of order from what the instructions described, but got the rack attached to my 55” gravel bike in ~30 minutes. Have made two round trips with it so far with quite a heavy pannier bag attached and it seems very solid. I am satisfied!

Nice retail-quality rack, lightweight, decent installation instructions, good installation hardware. My cruiser does not have standard M5 accessory bolt threading for the fender brace holes, so I had to buy two larger M6 bolts at the hardware store to install the bottom rack stays. Ok I had bought another brand before on here and it was very shaky unstable and it raised the seat by 3 Inches I could no longer reach the floor because the rack went on the Seat Post.This one is perfect 👍 it does not raise seat post and is more stable im happy with this rack.
