Was so disappointed in this Item. Not only was it Waaaay smaller then the picture makes it appear. It fit in one hand! I thought it was at least as tall as a normal glass! It is barely the size of a cup! (Should have paid more attention to the size BEFORE ordering it, my fault) the fact that no matter what I tried, new batteries and all it still doesn’t light up. But I gave it 2 stars because I was able to make it work somewhere else in my house! (Even though I had to put it up on some books to make it appear to be taller then it actually is) It is a shame it doesn’t light up though! Too much of a hassle to have to send it back! Unless you can make it work somewhere….I wouldn’t waist my money….even though it was only 11.38. ... show more

So adorable!! Much better in person than in the picture. The picture doesn’t do them justice. Primitive perfection and perfect with rustic or primitive decor. For once, the timer candles actually look like a real candle stick with a tiny little wick and everything. They are really rather impressively made. They are small so be aware of the size before you buy. For me, it was exactly the size I was looking for as an accent to my dining room sideboard primitive decor. Made of metal and painted in the primitive style, they are really rather sturdy, of a good quality, and very well crafted. Can’t beat the price for the quality. Like them so much that I’m buying two more for the powder room! They also come with batteries already installed. I was very impressed with this item and it goes perfectly with my decor. First off it's tiny. Secondly, it doesn't work. I pulled the tab and the on and off buttons are so cheap, it doesn't turn anything on or off not to mention you can see the glue on the bottom. Was so excited for this to come in only to be so sad it wasn't what I thought I was ordering.

These are cute, small lanterns. Measurements are as stated in description. I ordered 2. One was defective ( on & off switch was frozen). I arranged for a return & replacement. The replacement arrived in 2 days in good condition. These are " Primitives" so they are supposed to look worn, not perfect or straight. U like them & gave one to my MIL and she's thrilled with it. The switch sticks so it works sometimes. When the light does happen to work it’s like paranormal activity in your home. I guess a 2 for one if that’s what your in too.

Cut but impossible to open to change the batteries which need 2 button ones. doesn't work even with fresh batteries. Didn't realize it's not a timer. Should have sent it back

The first one I purchased was perfect. Ordered another and the top was crooked all way around. Exchanged for one more, which came with an old rotten battery. No worries though as I can get more batteries!

I really love the look of this, and I continue to use it in my decor, however -- the battery died after 3 days of use on the timer setting.
