A single piece "U" shaped design provides youngsters with the most stable platform learn the basics of skiing. • Perfect for beginners
Easy for 5 yr old to stay up. Adult had to be in the water to keep child oriented at start. Very easy to hold the rope with your bare hands if you needed to instead of tying off to boat

  • Great start!
We were skeptical, but it worked amazing and got our very timid daughter out on the water at 5 years old.

  • The best set-up for kids
We tried a different set of kid's skis that were attached at the top. Only frustration. I think the skis being together and having a wider base was the key. My 9 and 12 year old nephews were successful on their first try! One thing we did discover is to be careful of the kids' weight. Not because of the skis but for the person holding the other end of rope. ... show more

  • Perfect for beginners
Perfect ski for beginners! We got our 4 year old and 6 year old up on this ski with no troubles. One thing to note, start them on the beach just barely in the water. have someone hold the tips up out of the water and slowly pull away from the shore (you don't need to gun it). If you follow this steps, they get up SUPER easy and quickly. Tons of fun ... show more

  • Great way to teach kids to ski
I ordered these trainer skis for my 9 year old daughter who wanted to water ski with the big kids. Here's how to works: The tow line is actually attached to the skis/board itself. Someone on the boat holds the other end of the tow line so that if your skier gets in trouble they can quickly let go. The skier holds a handle that is attached to the board. This takes considerably less balance when trying to get up on the skis/board since the handle and board are together. The skis themselves are attached together and cannot be separated. My 9 year old was able to get up on the skis on the 4th try with me in the water helping level out the board and pushing her up to launch. After a few tries she could do it on her own without anyone helping. She has a great time skiing on these and I am sure when she graduates to big skis it will be no problem now that she has the feel for it. ... show more

  • Great for beginners!
My daughter has just started learning and she tried 5 times to get up before getting exhausted, but this worked great for her to just be able to try and stand without the skis moving!
